Hey everyone, sorry to keep you guys waiting on the blueprints, and a tutorial video, for the treadmill build. I have been extremely busy. I have not been able to work on them. However, I do not know when I will have any blueprints and tutorial video ready, but I still plan on doing these things in the future. I don't know exactly when, much more complicated than it seems. I apologize for any inconvenience.
No worries!! But definitely looking forward to them!! For a border collie and she could really use something like this to expell her high energy levels haha
Hey Coulter, thanks for your vids. Just awesome. Could you just tell me where to get the rails of wheels and especially the rails (guides) on which you fixed the steps? Please n Thank you
Dog Runs, like this is just incredible! It helps dogs get their extra energy out, in dangerous weathers such as extreme heat, or cold, even therapy. It helps them dogs out! This is awesome work! Thank you!!!
This is awesome. Will definitely be making one for dog. She gets out for regular walks but with being a hound her nose gets the best of her some times. This will be a great way to help her use up some of that excess energy
That is the cleanest , smoothest , solid , DYI dog treadmill I seen .Good enough for people to buy. I would buy one if the price is right. Remember now I seen medium sized slatmills on Amazon that is less the $800. That would be you competition right there. Well done!!
I just found this video the other day and wow! It looks like you kept it simple as far as the lengths (2', 4', 6'). If you ever do get a chance to put the pdf up and wanted pay per download I think you have a willing base of consumers here - myself included! Great work and I hope things have settled out.
Heck yeah!!! I've got a BOSS from DT. It's wood model also. You using the wheels and bearing seems like it's not near as loud as the mill I have. Again, great job!
Pretty impressive treadmill. Could you put a materials list of what was needed to make it cause man that looks really nice. You got some skills for sure
This is probably the best one I’ve seen ever. Period. I wish you’d make a more in depth video soon so that people could DIY! I’ve read you’re working on it so I very much look forward to that video :) thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for the insight Deborah, unfortunately the materials are the easy part to understand because the creator has commented many times on other peoples comments with a full list. The issue is the build, it’s not as simple as slapping wood together and calling it a day, there are important steps to ensure the most sturdy frame for a safe slate mill for dog use and I want to make sure to do it right so there is no safety concerns for my dogs.
@@MeganLDistefano Exactly, It is very much more complex than people think, I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting, currently had to switch gears and work on other things. ok two questions. i got everything done the same way but i had my material fall apart for holding the belt together. what did you use, and how did you secure the final piece to complete the circle? i saw that its looks like rubber mat but mine must have been thinner material. and did you use rivets or bolts to secure the boards to the rubber. otherwise i got you matched perfectly. ty in advance
What is attached to the wooden pieces that the dog runs on? I see people using carpet, which looks a lot easier than making your own wooden track, but the wood option looks so much better
Hi, first off, thank you for this video, I want to make one for my dog cause he does have a lot of energy and needs something like this. I'm trying not to ask the same questions but I couldn't find, about how many sheets of plywood did you use?
Would you happen to have a .pdf of the blueprints or do you sell them? If not, do you think it's possible to make a step-by-step tutorial video? Also, your slat mill happens to be the best I've seen on CZcams thus far. Looking forward to that tutorial :)

I don't understand how you get it to roll over the skateboard wheels with the bolts. Won't the bolts just get stuck in between the wheels, or have to go over each wheel? I can't wrap my head around it. Would appreciate it if you posted a tutorial or close up of how it works. I have a raindeer herder breed, and this mill would solve a looooot of activation problems for me! Thanks
