- Xiaomi HyperEngine V6 electric motor, delivering 299 hp and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds. The SU7 Max, on the other hand, is a true powerhouse with a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup. It boasts an impressive 673 hp and 838 Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds. The SU7 Max also features a top speed of 267 km/h and a remarkable range of up to 800 km on a single charge.
Xiaomi has placed a strong emphasis on aerodynamics, achieving a world-record drag coefficient of 0.195. The interior of the SU7 series is both luxurious and futuristic, featuring a large 16.1-inch touchscreen, a 56-inch head-up display exclusive to the SU7 Max, and an immersive 25-speaker sound system. Safety is also a key focus, with the SU7 boasting a robust suite of safety features and autonomous driving capabilities powered by up to two NVIDIA Drive Orin processors.
Despite its advanced features and high performance, Xiaomi has not yet announced the pricing for the SU7 series. The launch marks a significant step for Xiaomi in the smart electric car market, showcasing their commitment to innovative technology and design aesthetic

I'm planning to buy an EV car for some while, but I was a bit disappointed by their range. The SU7 Max's range is really good. It's a masterpiece and real value for your money.
I think I can wait another 2-3 years in Norway to get one. I hope I don't need to wait longer.

Agree, that the only way Xiaomi can survive is to go onboard and sell in the international market, there is no way it can survive the Chinese car market. This car is just too average, and even new brands like Avatr and Luxeed can bury it easily.

Everybody is nitpicking about appearances. The bones of Xiaomi or Huawei are what's important. If they get that right, then not the US or anybody in the west can stop China from being the world's preemminent car maker.

not trying to be a hater but other than marketing there's little value to having Chris Bangle critique the car after it was already designed. Is this about validation? As a designer myself I don't think it's an ugly car but it's a safe design, took no risks, established no identity with many derivative design elements from other brands. Design aside, Xioami is about value for the mass market, it's the value prop for their customer base and I have no doubt it will be popular.

Obviously a beautiful car---hope it works. Sadly, it's not original and it seems to be getting a huge push by CZcams and others at the moment. It is still FAR from being affordable for most people. 200K RMB is an expensive car. Many will buy it, but it is far from being an accessible automobile for most.
