I’m 13 weeks & 3 days pregnant & I watched this video at 5 weeks… haven’t changed my mind! I’m hoping to have a home birth with no medication. This is my first pregnancy & I want to experience everything as natural as possible, I’m even finding out the gender at birth. I believe us as women, we can give birth on our own, it’s what God intended. Imagine us back then through history without this modern day medicine & technology. We’re all here because of our past generations! Stay strong Mamas!!! I’m sharing this video with my mom since she had 7 kids & believed that hospitals were the only safe place to give birth. Hopefully my experience will change her perspective even if this video doesn’t! God bless ✨
@@Brownskinhoney haha well unfortunately at 42 weeks I took the midwives brew which made me have very strong frequent contractions & my baby’s heart rate was at 200bpm which was bad so I went into the hospital & I had to get an emergency c section. Then they drove my baby to another nearby hospital because the one I went to didn’t have the proper medicine to regulate his heart rate. I left the hospital after the second day because I was without my baby & his father. It was so traumatizing…. But my baby is ok! I wish it would’ve gone down a different way but of course, life is full of surprises!
this happened to me !! my daughter almost died , they never offered me an a exsplanation saying they had no idea why her heart rate dropped ,doing my own research I found out this is why and they were just covering there a**** they didn't have time to do a c section they basically ripped her our of me and I was only 6 cm dilated !!
Don't let your baby die unnecessarily; if you must have a home birth, rent an RV and have the baby just outside the nearby emergency room. When babies are born blue, minutes matter.
America has the highest infant and maternal mortality for a reason. Drs. Will often do what is convenient without truly considering what is safe for mom and baby
Oh I respectfully disagree if the woman is healthy the safest place to give birth is at home with an experienced midwife no question about that ... I should know I had a beautiful home water birth

It's fear versus knowledge.

The best way is to labor at home and go to hospital when it’s progressed close to delivery
