      Do you mean the Vector? It was well ahead of it's time but unfortunately there were some problems with it. I still have a big poster hanging at my wall :-) It's about 30 years old but like new.

    • @NorbertHarrer
      @NorbertHarrer Před 7 lety

      Yes, the Vector. I just googled up some pictures. That design looks very futuristic even for today. I love those sharp edges. And the interior... Haha. That's like a real life knight rider :-D

      @iHayri1  Před 7 lety

      Yes the cockpit is great, I see the poster every day and I am not tired of it yet. Like you said the sharp edges makes it futuristic. I hate how all of the new cars look the same these days, only Lamborghini's stand out.

    Can you make a custom motorcycle gauge with fuel,high beam, neutral status and gear status? Hmm I guess a 4 piece config would be good so I can put it on a round classic motorcycle speedometer case. Your works are great sir thumbs up and subscribed!

    • @iHayri1
      @iHayri1  Před 6 lety +2

      Thank you for your kind words, since I am working on a big project that I want to put up on Kickstarter I have no time to do anything else than my normal items I sell on Tindie. As soon as I finish the PCB design I'll upload a video to introduce my new product. As a small teaser, it will include these features plus many more not listed here: 1.3" OLED, Atmega328 and ESP07, flat rotary encoder with nav buttons, GPS, microSD card reader, 1200mAh Lipo and all the sensors you can think of. The clue will be that you have dozens of sketches on the SD card and choose from a menu and upload whatever you want from the SD card, nothing other needed, no PC, no phone. You'll have a multiple functionality in one device.

    • @guiltygearcore
      @guiltygearcore Před 6 lety

      That is a great idea sir! Keep up the good work . So its gonna be a design with multiple features. You just select whatever features you want from the SD. Wow that would be awesome. One suggestion sir. I wish it could fit on a standard classic speedometer . That would be a great item for the shops that make custom motorcycles. Keep it up sir!!!

      Thee are easier solutions for that, with the right apps you can just use a tablet for that.

    Amazing stuff, I'm curious as to how one would retrofit this to a vehicle one would have to know the voltages to the original displays so your displays would match how does this work?

    • @iHayri1
      @iHayri1  Před 7 lety

      The gauge you see in this video would need to connect like you describe, not very user friendly. I am working on a OBDII version that will be plug and play.

      Well automotive sensors are not that expensive and most will output 0-5 volt which is perfect for the Atmega chip I use.
