It was a good experience volunteering, wasn't it? Volunteering sounds like is a very incredible way to connect with a different community and with nature, and it is also very cool that is very affordable, thanks for sharing your experience.
Amazing experience. I volunteered once in a National Park in Brazil, it was an amazing experience. Being in a wild nature, meeting amazing people... It's like you said... 'totally disconnected from the world', you can really live, feel and enjoy everything around you. I 100% recommend. I live in the US and I'm now trying to find some projects in Alaska. Will be fun! And enjoy your trip!

Yes, of course, I'm very transparent with that, you can see the 'includes paid promotion' tag in the beginning. That doens't mean I don't love this platform or I'm not authentic in my review. I only do brand deals with products I believe in, and honestly this has been one the best fits for my page ever. I went all the way to Thailand and did a whole volunteer experience before I shared about it. My experience with Worldpackers was fantastic and I've recommended it also to some friends of mine who had a great experience with the platform as well :)

How long ago you made this arrangment like 6 months or more?
Around 3 months before in my case but I believe you can do it even closer to the date, you just have to apply to more places to broaden your chances. I’d recommend doing it with as much time as possible 🙌

I know you say free but im guessing to pay for the flight ticket isnt free right? And how much money would you recommend bring even tho you get meals and a place to stay for free?
Yeah, you can do it all around the world (in a lot of countries) but you have to get there yes. Once you're there you can stay for days, weeks, months or even for a whole year volunteering in some places! They can pick you up close to the place but you should organize your way to the place until the pick up spot so plan the days before and after as you'd do with any other trip (if you're on a budget you can stay in hostels, search the cheapest ways to get there on Rome2Rio.com or other similar websites...)
