- I finally made it work. For me this is a hard task to do, combining guitar electronics with LED proximity sensor electronics to a small guitar body, without compromising the playability and the art elements of the guitar. Thank you for watching, please like & subscribe cause I have a lot more ideas to come.

This is innovation at its finest! Love seeing new takes on traditional instruments.
Thank you! I'll try to make another one with a different design, and try to improve it more. I really enjoyed building this one. Have a great day!
Okay, so... this is BRILLIANT. Truly one of the coolest guitars ever created. Well done.
Thank you!
@GitaraMaker, I really enjoyed the playing at the end of the video, too. 😀
Please inspired us by building floyed rose bridge guitar 🎸🎸🎸
Beautiful build!!!!!
I can see how complicated the touch sensor was to make it work. Just an idea for a future project: Instead of touch sensor you could install a piezo (or other sound sensor) to control the brightness of the led stripe - in sync with the music. The harder you play, the more it would glow!
Again, congratulations for the guitar!
Wow thanks! I'll experiment on that, I have a few transducers I can begin with.
I agree, because when you play guitar its not like you'll be floating around the body. Unless you windmill your right arm I guess
@lcglazer haha that's true. I think it's best to place these on the fretboard where the fingers always touch it. I'm already in the planning stage on this, I hope it materializes.
That was my thought as well , have areas that were volume and/or pitch sensitive. Not that I know how to do it..... but it would be cool!
@@GitaraMaker Haha I thought exactly the same, that you should program the lights to respond to audio, and that this system belongs to the fretboard. Hope you can pull it off.
Beautiful Artwork out of this World and the Sound is great 👌🎸
Wow, that's insane! Probably the most beautiful self-made guitar I've seen on CZcams.
That's the best compliment I've ever had, thank you. May you have a great day ahead!
@@GitaraMaker You're welcome! I love the pattern, and especially that you chose green for the color; it looks amazing! The design on the headstock and fretboard add to the great look. That, and the beautiful sound of the guitar.
Have a great day, as well!
Aussie woodworker and muso here. Love your build and musicianship. I haven't tried to make the instruments I play (piano + brass) and can only imagine the satisfaction you have in playing your guitars. What a lovely start to my day and thank you! Cheers - Dave
Hey Dave thank you and I'm glad you liked it! May you have a pleasant day in your beautiful country Australia!
What an awesome song is "LIGHTEN UP". Great composition and groove. Thank you for sharing this beautiful music.
Thank you! I'm really proud of that instrumental that I made.
@GitaraMaker As you should be! Nice arrangement and the guitar sounds really good! Killer build, my friend!
This is so cool! It sounds great and looks amazing! I especially like the aged hardware! Very nice touch! 🔥
Thank you!
This is an artwork already
You keep blowing my mind with the most amazing, beautiful and unique guitars I've ever seen, I don't know how you keep doing it but keep it up!
Thank you! Yes I'll keep making more of these guitars!
Insanely beautiful work of art, even without the lighting. Love the copper parts too. Fantastic
Thank you!
super cool! reminds me a bit of a project Boston's Tom Scholz was working on a few years back
You're the best I absolutely love your Channel please keep these videos coming I enjoy them very much great job thank you again
Comments like yours give me more energy to do my best, thank you!
Thats just bloody genius,,crazy idea superbly done..well done sir.
Thank you 😊
You are a brilliant person. What makes you so is a good idea, immeasurable patience, knowledge and knowledge of the trade, ingenious tools you know. What else can I say, I respect you with a 70-year-old head, I admire you. Keep up congratulations, I don't speak English, if something doesn't sound right, it's the translator's sin!🥸🥸🤓
What you've said is the kindest words I've heard. English is not my first language and I think everything you said sounds good 😊
Even without the touch feature, that's a cool looking guitar.
Thank you!
Sounds good, looks awesome.
If I had the tools I would build my own guitar... and it would not be a traditional design, and it wouldn't be ugly either.
Your videos are inspiring.
Thank you! Yes, an original design would have been best.
extraordinary guitar! now thats an instrument id be willing to pay a lot of money for
Hexagons are the bestagons
That's true!
damn dude! i thought sts guitars were the coolest with the design, but i got proven wrong! this is so sick!!!
I would have programmed it just to light up in a pattern or randomness because your hand is pretty stationary when playing.
Yup, the sensor only has 2cm to trigger, and it is inside 1cm deep of wood already. One viewer suggested that I use a piezo so that it will trigger via vibrations, I'll probably try that next time and also consider your suggestions.
Awesome build mate! Love your videos!
Thanks mate!
Sooo sick! Imagine this on the neck of a fretless, or on the body of an acoustic for Marcin to play.
The lights should stay on for only a bit cause Marcin uses the whole fret all the time. Yes I'll try to make a fretboard that lights!
love that song u played for the audio test
Thank you!
looks great, i wanna see it in every color! :)
Love the Dr Dre instrumental in there. Nice guitar too
I dont even play and I still want this guitar
It is so amazing! Good work on this!
Thank you 😊
One of the coolest guitars ever, just a beauty.
Thank you!
Amazing!
You are a real talent!
Thank you!
matt bellamy needs this guitar. great job!
A wonderful build and so very calming and satisfying to watch. THANKS GITARA ! ( by the way: where are you located?)
I believe he's in the Phillipines
Philippines. :)
Killer totally killer 🤙
Great build and fun idea! Although I can't stop thinking that this touch gimmick is kinda pointless, because most of your guitar playing is just your right hand in the same position and you have to playing or implement some hand choreography into your playing to really use it, which would work nicely if you were some acoustic guitar player who uses his guitar also to play some drum patterns using different body parts of a guitar at the same time he's pkaying, I'm shure you know what i'm talking about. For this particular build I think something with more light zones and some kind of animation patterns or playing responsive reaction would be more practical and fun.
Yup, I was hoping it'll sync with my playing. But I'm trying to remedy it by replacing the touch sensor with a sound sensor. I'll make a video about that and test if it's going to sync with my playing.
Great Work! It remeber me "LA FLYING -M-" from the french guitarist -M- (alias Matthieu chedid ) if you didn't know, it's could interest you a lot. (it has a small documentary about) ;)
Thank you! I'd probably check that out.
DAMN!
it looks insane! i love it! would love to collab with u 1 day!
I definitely see the appeal of a colored resin but with RGB LEDs I wouldnt want to impact the color of the LEDs as that will bring you the most color so I would use semi transparent resin.
Right now I'm trying to experiment with the electronics, changing the touch sensor to a sound sensor, while at it I'd probably try RGB led. I'll make a video about it focusing more on the effects while playing.
So Rad! Very creative 💡
Thank you!
Simply AMAZING
Thank you!
Pretty awesome guitar! Next project, the lights change with the music, and the humbuckers and neck highlights glow, too?
Please make more videos often, bro. Keep up the great work.
I'll try to upload as soon as I can, these videos takes a lot of time to finish. Thank you!
Great build!
Thank you!
Good Job. Amazing Guitar 😊
Thank you!
Cool idea! Awesome job!
Wish it lighted up some more when played though.
Thank you! Yes the sensor is not that super strong, I hope I can improve it more.
Awesome
sensor on fret board and led on body might be a future
pretty cool idea
Thank you!
Build more of this bro.. so cool🥂🥂🥂
Yes I have another design! Thank you!
BRUTAL
So damn cool...
I wish you kept the guitar the original shape instead of making it the shape of a normal guitar. Either way, it still looks amazing man! Good job
That's the most interesting looking guitar I've ever seen
Thank you and I'm glad you liked it!
I have found after some experimentations that the black carbon paint which is also very fast drying works better than the copper foil shield and shields better. Cool guitar, I like it. Just sayin
Thank you! I'm going to check that out.
Solid yan maestro watching from bicol region 🙇
Maraming salamat po! God bless po sa inyo ☺️
Now I want one So Cool.....!!!!
Thanks!
Wow
Well, that is impressive 😮
Thank you!
Amazing video 👌
Thank you!
ang husay nyo po talaga sir
Thank you po! God bless sa inyo!
Beautiful builddd!!!!!!
It looks cool even without the light part , the hexagon inlays on the fret board
I would suggest you to use some ws 2812b addressable leds with a microcontroller like a esp , and a sound sensor, so that then you can also have a switch which then if you turn on it goes to sound reactive light mode or like a customer colour mode... I can help you with the circuit diagram and the code...
Thank you! Yes I'm checking out some sound sensors that are available in my country, like the KY-037 that can be controlled by Arduino. I can remove all the modules and replace them with one or two sensors which is probably enough to activate the LED's.
i
This guys way to underrated
Owsem
Ganda! 💗👌🏽
Yun present si @gelosoriano! Salamat brother!
Cool as hell....
Thanks!
Gaaandaaa ❤
Salamat brother ❤️
Would be even more suitable for some strat (when a guitarist switches pickups often)
What a work of art. From what I could see, you did a good job shielding. Any issue with noise from the lights? I'm always curious about that part of these kinds of builds.
There are issues with it, 60cycle hum is picked up if I toggle down the volume and tone. So I think the best way is to remove the vol and tone, and replace the wires with a shielded one. But as long as Vol is up and the tone is off there is no noise. I've been waiting for someone to ask this question and answer it. Thank you and have a great day ahead of you!
You're so cool man
Thanks! You're also cool 😎
But you're breaking up the continuity of the tonewood LMAO! FPRS!
😆
Zygarde is it you? Nice looking man!!
I just Googled Zygarde, a Pokemon with green and hexagon, that's definitely it. Thanks you're awesome!
@@GitaraMaker The name fits perfectly for the guitar desn´t it?!! Great work again bro 🤘🏽
Nice! Now make an acoustic guitar version of this for percussive fingerstyle :D
To add, RGB LED would respond to the intensity of the tap
That's possible! I'll add that to my list of ideas. Thanks!
Pretty cool. You know what would be even cooler? A guitar neck that could do that! Possible?
I think it is possible. I realize the touch sensor is better on a fingerboard and a sound sensor in a body.
@@GitaraMaker yes, when you were playing it at the end I could see that only one part of the body was lit up. That got me thinking that the neck illuminating while you played across the frets would really show off that tech nicely.
Nice
Thank you!
Bad Ass 🤘
Thanks! 😊
love the design and the idea ! I was asking myself, what is the exact reference of the type C plug ?
Sorry I forgot to show that, it's a power source for the led lights. Thanks for pointing that out!
The million-dollar guitar
📈
VERY COOL, Can I buy one?
Build synyster gates guitar next❤️🔥
That really is beautiful build and your skills are amazing. The only thing I'm not keen on is the pickup; It looks like a fancy bar of soap and I think a regular looking pup would look better. That said, it's all subjective!
Yes it kinda does, especially the color green, reminds me of Irish Springs 😆. Also the green mica powder I use is really for soap making.
That is a brilliant looking guitar only problem is when playing the bridge, leg rest and chest rest parts are being touch what would be cool is a sound activated guitar so each string and cord has a burst
Yes, I already have the parts to replace the touch sensor. I bought a sound sensor system and I'll make a video on how It's going to work. I really want to thank you and all the people who gave me this suggestion.
@GitaraMaker Brilliant can't wait to see how you make it just remember if you can code it to dim the lights rather then a straight shut off as I can see it becoming a problem for anyone with epilepsy.
I'm thinking Great Guitar Build Off finalist with this guitar.
It will be an honor to be part of that. Thank you!
Incrível
Thank you!
13:37 Video length. Well done sir.
Yes I'm trying to make it as short as possible, but I'll make a longer version for those who want the details of the build.
@@GitaraMaker Did you mean you didn't do it on purpose? 1337 stands for "LEET". Google is your friend :)
Next..build touch activated glowing neck guitar.
Yes! I think that's possible.
When do you think this is going on sell? This looks awesome
Thank you! I initially planned to sell this but I want to observe the performance first and check for any electrical flaws and what to improve.
This is amazingly cool but most of the body will never get touched, is there anyway to do this to an acoustic? Acoustic players hit the body in different places to make beats
What a wonderful Masterpiece. @Gitaramaker, Do you have a page where I can buy it? Thanks
Thank you! As of now I don't sell them, most of the guitars I build are for personal use. But probably in the future, I may sell some of them, thank you for taking interest. Have a great day ahead of you
Thanks so much for replying. Have a great day. 😊
Les Paul may approve this design!
I wonder where all these unique art design guitars end up? I’ve never seen one live on stage…
Probably hanging on a wall as a display. I don't think anyone who plays live buys these kinds of guitars or can even afford them.
Why did you eyeball the positioning of the hexagons?
NEXT touch activated glowing fret board pleeease
Yes I want that! Will try to make one 😊
How much for a bass model?
Sir magkano pag bibilhin?
Not the tone I'm looking for but a beautiful instrument nonetheless!
Do you sell the guitars
Con relámpagos haga una
Please please make a custom amp to go with it
That's a great idea! The lights will probably interfere with the sound but I'll try if there's a way around it.
How many hours do you have in this project. The detail is what consumes emmense time, not to mention the brain storming, as to how you want to accomplish the project.
Backside i meen.
I would imagine a whole lot noise with overdrive
