I have to say you changed your life by working so damn hard, new house, pool shop. You used to do 45min vids. All your regular channel vids are almost two hours now. Hey puddin, this last week has been crazy for me, my dad had a stroke Tuesday after Memorial Day and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. He’s doing better now and just got transferred to rehab today. I also graduated high school yesterday. He wouldn’t have missed it if he didn’t have the stroke. So many people have been supportive and so many have kept him in their prayers. It really helps to know he’s still there mentally and hasn’t lost his mobility. He was walking the next day. If you pray, say a prayer for him. I wouldn’t be who I was without him. And I was so scared when it happened.
Sorry about your dad that sucks congratulations to you for graduating high school. Small piece of advice to you if you choose college try to avoid student loans work save and pay cash your in state college will be cheaper for you for the same education. Also put 15% of your income away into good growth stock mutual funds and by the time your dads age you will be a multi millionaire guaranteed
Congratulations on your graduation. I will pray for your father’s complete recovery. God bless and never tire of doing the right thing.

I drove a 4x4 hilux into a pier garage after an earthquake had shook San Diego the night before. I was over the water way in the back getting boat bumpers and stuff out of our storage cage. As I drove away I heard splashing and realized the floor was falling into the ocean behind me so I floored it and that little Toyota pick up saved my life.
Toyotas are expensive because they are worth it. Like OBS fords.
I have two OBS dually quad cabs. They are great trucks.

When I had my 94 GMC Sierra, I just unbolted the bed and slid it back and changed my fuel pump. So easy.
I did the same. I just used a saw horse in the back.
That's what I do 99 f150 four bolts and two electrical connections
Sitting down at the welding table and going step by step with the throttle sensor/control was perfect. I also like how you dropped that exhaust right on the shop floor from head height and Theo never even twitched a muscle. Same for when you exhibit your karate skills. That shows a happy, content dog that knows he's now in a safe place. Good job!

Puddin my sweet friend I am 75 years old and I have been watching your videos for several years. I absolutely adore you and that precious little heart Rod she is a hot mess love her little sassy attitude. She reminds me of me when I was her age everybody picked at me and made it a lot worse and I have always been fascinated and loved cars and trucks when we were kids we played under the front porch with a little tiny cars and trucks made out of rubber they look like hot wheels and was about the size of hot wheels but that was long before when I was about 7 to 10 years ago. My mom and dad’s friends had some older boys and they would take me to the store where they used to hang out and win a car would pass. They would but older people like a dollar or two, but I can tell him why year make and model the car was and they would make money. I don’t know you didn’t need all that history. I just wanted to share with you. I love a junkyard better than anything I love walking around looking at how are them I have always very active are used to drive a tow truck. My friend had an 18 wheeler and I would drive it sometimes without the trailer just around town and I’m only like 5 foot and I would have to rise up to look over the door window and people would turn around in their seats and say look at that little girl, but I would give anything if I come out and visit and go to the junkyard but I’ve had three major spine surgeries and I don’t get out much anymore. It breaks my heart but I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy you all the way around your personality and the compassion that you have for your family sometimes when you tear up talking about them, I have to grab the Kleenex myself doing what you do and if you ever come back through Alabama, I would love for you to stop in Birmingham and let and let me show the girls where to shop they would love it. I am about five minutes from the summit. That’s a huge shopping center. It’s on both side of the street and it’s right off of 459 and 280 I do not comment often but when I do I get long winded and I love your sayings a lot of them I’ve heard all my life and I know people don’t hear those anymore. I have a jeep grand Cherokee, 2000 with over 200,000 miles the jeep I had before that I finally got rid of it with over 400,000 miles on it. It was the 4.0 but now I’m old and broke and the transmission has started slipping. I have done all the research and there’s a couple switches that you can put on the outside but it’s too hot and if I was to get out there and try to do it myself I am on oxygen they would get my family for elderly abuse lol but I am blessed why more than I deserve and I hope you have a blessed week and keep on keeping on and if you get a chance Skarb hot rods, knob, and tiller that old lady Nancy Duke loves her attitude👏👍🤜🤛🙌🫶🙏

Ran into this on a carburetor on a 79 Toyota. Bought a used engine and the intake on that motor had water jackets that cooled the base plate of the carb. When the truck ran it sprayed water out and if I remember right it sprayed it into the motor too with the old carb. Huh? Why was that made like that?? So, I had the carb that came with the motor, but no gasket. Well, I couldn't find a gasket and I wasn't sure what to do. Parts guy tossed me some material like this and I was still confused as to how to transfer it. Who came to the rescue? My mother of all people! We took a piece of gasket material and my mom had an idea! Sprayed the bottom of the carburetor with PAM! Set the carb on the material, and had a perfect impression. God... I loved that woman and her ingenuity! Cut the gasket and it worked perfectly!!

If you swap the Toyota bodies and if your Toyota motorhome isn't much good you could pull off the camper part of the motorhome. put the newer cab on it and and make a flatbed dump on that frame.The one I have is a great little truck.

Thats in great shape compared to my 89 which is even the same color. Ive plated my frame several times to keep her going but im going to need to replace the frame or use it as a parts truck for a better one.
I am looking forward to this build. I built a bunch of Toyotas. Tough little trucks.

I loved this video because I have a red 93 Hilux just like this one that had a blown head gasket when I got it, and YOU motivated me to get off my ass and work on it.
I removed all of the unnecessary vacuum lines, as well as using LC Engineering parts to remove all the EGR stuff. I dropped it, with spindles and a ball joint flip with 3 1/2" blocks in the back. I love driving it and while it's not perfect I get a lot of compliments! Thank you for the great entertainment and motivation!!

So much of that vacuum stuff is completely unnecessary and removing all that cleans it up so much. Especially since you'll be swapping it into an older pickup.

Quick tip of the day: heat up that metal return with just a bit o heat and watch that gunk start to fall outta there. But, don’t go setting that thing on fire! Try to do once it’s been removed and dried/blown off with some air

Autozone is just about worthless around here. I think their target audience are people who barely do oil changes.

I have a 92 Toyo box truck after your inspirational videos, a 1989 Toyo Truck, a 2002 Rav, what a family of vehicles.
I'm sure you know this by now, but that wire you kept pointing out is 100% a ground and caused all your running issues 😅 Toyota tech for the last 5 years. Those grounds will get ya every time. Put it anywhere on that intake or head and it'll be fine.
Just curious how it caused all my issues as it’s running without it hooked up? 😂🤷🏻♂️. It’s still not hooked up in the end of this video.
No it’s definitely a bundle of grounds that grounds to the intake manifold.
My bad fellers, just trying to help out. I've seen that missing ground cause very similar issues time and again. The 100% might have been a little on the high side
In all seriousness, it is a ground..doesn’t matter what color the wires are..I am 100% sure that it grounds to the intake manifold
I didn’t mean to sound rude if I did. Maybe another ground somewhere is tied to it and keeping it alive for now. Toyota has red grounds, got it! Obviously we will have more time on the truck in the future so we will get it hooked up 👍🏻

Puddin, Son! When using the hole punch set, USE a sheet of wood (plywood) under your work, never hammer down on the punches onto a steel table.
It will save the punches from damage or dullness.
