Some few month ago, we experienced the scarcity of tomatoes and pepper in Nigeria.
The price of tomatoes range from #150, 000 to #90,000 in the market.
Welcome to another marketvlog, in this video I shared the current price of basket of tomatoes. You get to see the rate of tomatoes has really crashed.
Thank you for watching today's video don't forget to like, share and give this video a thumbs-up.

Thank you for watching
Beautiful market scenes, there are lots of fruits and vegetables in there. God bless you
Nne Weldon. 👍
It’s still expensive in some places though but it’s coming down gradually.
Well done🎉❤😊
Oh Allah, thank you for what is happening in our land now. We thank you, God.
What a great video
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Welldone
Thank you
Another great vlog!!!
The prices were initially increased by greedy people
That utc tomato you were holding will be good in garnishing abacha.(African salad)
🤣😂🤣
I think the prices are still high oh. I’m comparing the prices to the average below minimum wage salary and that’s still relatively unaffordable though it’s better than before.
You are right. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for doing this great work Madam ojuolape.
I think the price variance still depends on the quality, freshness and species of the tomatoes.
Thank you for watching. You are right
You're right but it's expensive in Lagos. I bought tomatoes on 16 August the tomatoes that alway round tomatoes and strong, cause I freeze them. The tray is 21k in Akure. Lagos price is still on the high side and no uniform price which is bad.
@@GL-kitchen2230 because, they know Lagosians will still buy however!
Let Rice, beans and garri price go down so that the hunger in nigeria will stop
Aamin
You do well Ma. What a nice job. So insightful. Thanks a lot dear.
Please can you equally show us the prices of Okro, plantains and Sweetcorn in your next video.
God bless you Ma
I will. ❤️
Welldone Aunty!! Kudos to you o. E ku ise ma ❤
Thank you for your love ❤️
Some of the food may be GM (genetically modified) food, that’s why they are so cheap. This market people are very smart.
I don't agree with you. These are southern parts of Nigeria tomatoes. But the problem is that tomato farming is not practised exclusively in the southern part. I have a content creator that is into tomato farming. She is harvesting heavily now here in the south.
60k for a basket of tomatoes is not cheap biko!!!!!
See how that girl wan shook her head inside ur shoot 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Untop looking..
Nigerians and look😂😂😂
Omooo. The way u nor Dey send them Dey do ur video ehen, so beautiful 👏🏽👏🏽💗💗

Nice video…..please do they sell foodstuffs at cheap rates in this market apart from tomatoes and peppers?
Yes, mile 12 market is the cheapest and biggest foodstuffs market in Lagos.
I saw you when you visited your neices (sisiyemmie) twin babies, or was that not you? But looks like you. I saw your Mum too dancing!
Congratulations for the twins🎉🎉🎉
@chidivlogs thank you. Yes, I was there. I was there at the naming ceremony. My mum, sisters, and brothers were there. Thank you so much
But a plate is still being sold for 1000 at Mowe Market and the environs...
Yes, because of the cost of transportation
Madam the prices have dropped because it's the season,
Our fight is why can't we have this all year round as Nigeria has the capability to do that.
The weather does affect tomato farming. Preservation is the best measure.
Where is your own farm
@@Ojuolape_space yes, by preservation through dehydration which can reduce spoilage
