What’s the movie Friends With Benefits about?
Dylan (Justin Timberlake from The Social Network and In Time) and Jamie (Mila Kunis from Black Swan) think it's going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship, despite what Hollywood romantic comedies would have them believe. They soon discover however that getting physical really does always lead to complications.

Jamie Rellis, an executive headhunter in New York City, recruited Dylan Francis Harper Jr., an art director from Los Angeles, to be interviewed for a position at GQ magazine. Initially skeptical, Dylan accepts the job after a night exploring the city with Jamie. Jamie manages to persuade Dylan by taking him to a flash mob dance.
Dylan moves to New York, signing a one-year contract that sees Jamie receive a commission on her recruitment. And they became close platonic friends. Jamie sometimes invites Dylan to chat loosely on top of a skyscraper while gazing at the stars. Jamie also often invites Dylan to her friends' parties, so that Dylan gets used to the atmosphere of New York City. Secretly, they are actually attracted to each other, but feel awkward because of the professional relationship they have to live.
One night, after agreeing that sex doesn't require emotional attachment, they engage in casual sex, as they call tennis playing. After a few tries together, Jamie decided to start dating again. Jamie and Dylan are back to being usual friends. They are actually trying to ignore the emotional attraction between them. They have a lot in common, namely intelligent, spontaneous, sloppy, but actually very melancholic.
Jamie meets Parker, an oncologist, and decides to date. Knowing Jamie had been dating another man, Dylan actually felt jealous, but later brushed off the jealousy by spending time at a co-worker's party.
After five dates, Jamie and Parker complete their relationship, but Parker dumps Jamie in the morning. Parker says he just wants to have fun with Jamie, but doesn't mean to be the prince of dreams in Jamie's life. A heartbroken Jamie immediately returns home, and finds her mother (Lorna) playing tennis with a gigolo. She was even more frustrated by the incident. Jamie then refused her mother's invitation for an independence day holiday in her homeland.
Dylan then persuades Jamie to go with him to Los Angeles. There, Jamie meets Dylan's sisters Annie, his niece Sammy, and Dylan's father, who has early-stage Alzheimer's disease. Although Jamie and Dylan reassure his family that they are just friends, they end up playing tennis again in secret. However, Annie, Dylan's sister, knows what happened.
The next day, Jamie overhears Dylan telling Annie that Jamie is too "broken" to date. Jamie is hurt to hear that, she flies home and ignores Dylan's attempts to contact her. Dylan finds Jamie on the roof of a skyscraper - where they'd first spent the night after office hours. Jamie said she heard everything Dylan said to Annie. Jamie intends to end their friendship. Dylan explained that it was just an attempt to avoid Annie's question asking him to end his single life immediately. But Jamie soon left Dylan and crying.
Some time later, Jamie learns that Dylan may leave GQ for another job before his contract expires, which will affect the amount of commission she receives. Jamie finds Dylan, and gets them into an argument. Jamie felt that what Dylan had done was an attempt to get revenge on her. Dylan actually felt guilty about it, and didn't want to fight with Jamie. Deep down, Dylan has feelings for Jamie. However, maybe he was too arrogant to admit it.
Jamie then spends time with her mother, while Dylan meets his father at Newark Liberty International Airport, then shares his problems about Jamie. During the confusion caused by Alzheimer's, his father mistook a passerby for a woman from his past. After regaining his clarity, he explains that he met "the love of his life" before marrying Dylan's mother, but let her go. Dylan's father urges Dylan not to do the same, and makes peace with Jamie.
Realizing his true feelings for Jamie, Dylan calls Lorna to come up with an excuse for Jamie to go to Grand Central Station, where Dylan will surprise Jamie with a flash mob dance with song "Jump" and "Closing Time".
There Dylan apologizes, and expresses his love for Jamie. He admits that Jamie is his best friend, and Dylan doesn't want to lose his best friend again. Jamie was moved by this, and shared the same feelings for Dylan.

They then kiss passionately. They then went on their first real date. Dating as lovers. They crossed the street to the Pershing Square cafe, and held hands. A sign of releasing a long buried longing. The End.

The ending ruined this movie for me, the movie started off with a great idea, but in the end the writer fucking screwed it with a cliche ending.

This is one ending which hit me very hard, idk why but I know that this is one of my favourite scenes from the movie. You don't really need super realistic Endings. And under certain circumstances this could be real. Maybe not everything in that scene but a few like the conversation with he want his best friend back and so.
