Mannnn this game was a small part of my childhood, but it was memorable. I was just helping my parents clear out some boxes from their garage and found the CD. Def gonna be playing it when I fly back home! Thanks for the video!
When you think about it, this game is the true sequel to the movie. The direct to video movies are rebooted canons, the 1996 TV show retcons the first movie's events where there was no Carrigan or Dibs, no deeds to a treasure, no Casper falling in love, no mentions to Amelia or The Lazarus. This game actually mentions stuff from the movie and the plot sounds like it could've been an actual story for a sequel without Christina Ricci and Billy Pullman since they didn't want to comeback.
grew up in central pa, not shit to do here. used to visit my gram quite often and play this on her computer in her kitchen back in like 07, when i played RS. i spent a lot of time in the light house looking at the ocean. kinda reminded me of the same void you feel looking out across the corn mazes.
that clown was always so annoying, i remember as a kid reading the little poem about him running around the halls and searching endlessly for him in the manor...
I'm trying to get this game to play on my computer as well but i cannot figure it out for the life of me. i have an alienware gaming computer running on windows 10. I took my computer to best buy just the other day since i bought it from there and asked the geek squad there if they knew how to get the game to run on my computer and they had no clue and said it wasn't doable. :( i am not too familiar with doing mods on computers. but going off of your guys comments, is vmware something i need to download off the internet (www.vmware.com) in order to be able to play this game? what did you do once you downloaded it? sorry for all the questions! just came across this game a while back and really wanted to play it again. used to play it with my mom when i was really young but we never beat it though sadly.
Anyone know of another interactive ghost game that was on ms dos around that time that was not casper but was very similar to this, the whole click somewhere on the screen to enter a new area type thing. I've been searching for years and cant find anything, its driving me crazy. Not as high quality as this game
This game just came to me, from the deepest parts of my childhood and I had to see it again. Thank you for this
Same lol
The ghosts zooming in from that background traumatized me for life
This game succeeded in making the Ghostly Trio scarier than they actually are.
This game scared me as a kid😂 I still sometimes hear the music playing in the background of my mind before I go to sleep
Is this the voice of jimmy neutron
I thought I was the only one. I watch this with the lights on or during the day
never finished this game, scared me way too much as a kid

I love casper the friendly ghost
30:23 I am leaving this time stamp for my own, future use. I will be playing it every time my wife catches the toddler in the bathroom.
Ive got a lot of use out of this.

I love Casper
Well since there wasn't a part two of this game I guess all of his friends remain as ghosts forever at Whipstaff

Could I ask how you managed to play this game? Rather, I'd be interested to know if there's an emulator capable of playing the game myself.
Try PcEm
