Pete is by far one of the nicest players i know. Id love to meet him one day.
As for suhr, they are an amazing company and actually provided me with the schematic so i could wire up a guitar ala petes switching and i will say in my 20 odd years of playing i have never liked middle positions of neck and bridge together, but with petes switching and the bridge in parallel in the middle positions i effing love it. Pete is so amazing with his live streams and such a lovely man. A true good dude.
The convergence of one of the nicest and best guitarists around with probably the nicest and best guitar shops I have seen on CZcams. Would love to see such an incredible store in Australia. Not likely...
I have 3 Suhr’s: an Antique Modern, a Thornley and a Classic. I love all 3.

Love this guy, I bought his first album (Guitar Nerd) purely off the back of seeing his Eruption lessons, I just thought "what the hell, the guy is an amazing guitarist, if the album's crap I'll throw it in the bin"! Needless to say if it had been a vinyl album I'd have worn it through by now; the second album (Pete Thorn 2) is currently getting the same treatment, the opening track is a monster :-). What about some gigs next time you're over here Pete? I didn't even know you were around!

Pete, Mark Knopfler's original "super strats" were Pensa-Suhr guitars built by Rudy Pensa AND John Suhr before John went off on his own to start his own company.
Rudy has never built anything, actually. He's just the name and owner of the place. Always "subcontracts"

@@levismitch Ignoring the fact that John is still personally building guitars down to the fretwork, still john designed and programmed the machines to make the current guitars. Rudy cant even draw a guitar on a napkin.

Gorgeous! But I still need at least 3-5 years of practice to start using such guitars. I think that the level of playing should correspond with what instrument you play. In other case it looks funny))
