If it cost money I won’t do it. I’m 36 and came from a time of gaming when content was unlocked via skill in the game and not with the wallet.
Games used to come on tape and floppy disc, no dlc, no expansions, no bug fixes.
I feel mostly the same, I usually only use gcoin from the prime gaming gift boxes.
100% agree, it’s even more gambling.
You can unlock pretty much everything for free using BP.

Yep, contraband is very pricey. This new system allows lots for free which is great.
My m4 is level 10 and it cost quite a bit

This is pretty interesting. Praying I can get the orange desert combat tunic from the Aftermath season. That is the one cosmetic I regret not getting in the years I've played this game.

ok ive been trying to figure out where the chest were and watching this i see that they are missing for me anybody know why or how to fix
Ya I did the chest for the event, bought one for BP and bought a 3rd one for g coins and mine are missing too. It shows my key count and the key fragments but the chest windows are missing no matter what I do.

They add this to the game but literally if you go to team death match it says “new game mode coming soon” they should be sued for false advertising they’ve had that sign up for AGES 🧐🤯 I guess it looks good to them

Be far better if could just buy the outfits u want, like they should have the crates as a cheaper option and for free via BP but every outfit should be on the store so people can just buy the ones they wants, maybe at a more premium price, right now its dam trash how like i spent £120 and got no outfits i wanted, none!

Honestly I’m not fussed. I have enough gun skins and costumes to carry on with. Saying that, I do like the Red Cross helmet and the black leather jacket with studs on.
Yep, good for newer players though, and something to spend BP on if you have a million of it sitting around burning a hole in your pocket.

loot system was so much better in the first few seasons
I dont even understand how to use Hideout or whatever it is. Contraband and the other thing i dont know at all what is going on. The game is frustrating enough with the movement mechanics at the moment in game making me feel like a newbie getting killed when i have been playing for a few years already, so why get annoyed doing more confusing things? Probability of getting nice things on PUBG is virtually zero from previous experience. Took forever getting the one item i was trying to get if i actually did in the end.
I feel manipulated...What happened to the days of where you bought a chest with in-game currency, and you just straight up unlocked an item permanently? I Unlocked ONE chest after a week of playing and I can't even craft the item I received. PUBG really trying their hardest to get me to spend money, which I refuse to do. Not fooling me smh. This scheme might work on 12 y/o's though.

Ugh lame, I was actually hoping it was an actual workshop and you could make anything, but it’s just another crap idea like the hideout. They just don’t get it. Ah wells hopefully the new map does well on console.

Gaming is getting rather money grabbing ! In years gone they you use to be able to get gear , weapons etc while levelling up! Now it's all about spending!
So not only do you have to by the game you have to spend even more on top! I know pubg is free now but the amount of money you throw at it makes it not free! I wish they could just build in into the game while levelling up

PUBG does this to get people to spend money on useless stuff, I have almost 1million BC for no reason, and pubg knows that, that’s why they put a limit where you said you can only buy ten at a time, they are always finessing , why not just add a bunch of new guns every update?? They literally cut the game off for maintenance just so they can add a new way to take money from kids because they’re old method is dried out, they’re hoping a bunch of people are going to buy gcoins ETC after this update , why put money in they’re pockets if they not updating games properly . Give new maps , games modes , different types of gliders , vehicles, weapons , quicker ways to heal up in the middle of fights when you are alone fighting multiple squads , quicker jumping / climbing animation when boosted, new red dots, scopes , there’s so much they could be doing , claymores , semetex ,

Way more convoluted than it needs to be, get chest, need key to open chest, get item in chest need credits to unlock that item, urrggh no thanks.
It's obvious this video was recorded on PC...none of the pictures load on the console menu..that along with menu lag is pathetic for ps4. Any chance I would have spent money long gone until they fix the menus.
I mean, that and the fact that this video was published over a week before the update was released on console.
