Sebastian Croft is so good as Ben. Despite Ben being thoroughly unlikable in the things he says and does, Croft makes him more than a cardboard 'villain'; he lets you see the conflict he's going through bubbling under the surface- he doesn't have the support group that Charlie and Nick have, and doesn't know how to go about getting it for himself- although sadly he had it within arms reach w/Charlie but alas, Nick now is benefiting from it. Not excusing anything about Ben's actions, but I sympathize, I believe he's surrounded by toxicity- friend groups & possibly family...you can feel the desperation when he tells Charlie in the unfortunate assault scene "I'm trying to figure things out, what more do you want from me"!- my heart ached for him in that moment. A less talented actor than Sebastian Croft would not have been able to achieve that. Kudos to the multi talented Croft and in fact, the entire cast. SO MUCH admiration for this life altering show!! ❤🌈
