This dancer is great with Adayu/steps but her Abhinayas are OTT and to be honest she is not a beauty so her grotesque expressions are more painful than joy.
careful with your words man. its fine to critique dance but keep opinions of appearance to yourself. This is an artist ..who is a human being. I used to be incredibly blunt and say whatever was on my mind as well...until someone made me realize the error of my ways. so hopefully you'll learn from this.
I feel a tad sorry for you that you feel this way and have expressed your views in this manner... Her expressions/abhinaya is so clear...I can hear the dialogue in my head... With each glance, movement of head... Eyes....I am able to frame a conversation, story, feeling, emotion so well..... She is brilliant!! Dance is not about just looking pretty..... She is a beautiful dancer.... Her dance inspires and reaches out to you.... Purpose accomplished.
