After many years of not hearing this, finally get to hear it again; still remember the time my father played this over 30 years ago. Thanks, Classical Oasis for this.
I relate. This used to be played at every morning breakfast at my fathers place, alongside mozart, beethoven and vivaldi. True quality peace found in these melodic paintings.

@@petrowl yeah you can't force people to like this, i think it needs a special type of appreciation to enjoy this music. Although as a kid i wouldn't have put that music on by myself either, it did create good memories though. Maybe note it down and do this with your own family later on in life, if you want.

Thankful to God I knew at four years old that I wanted to play. We had an old Chickering (sp?) Upright that I learned on with my Mom sliding a piece of. cardboard with the notes marked above the keys. I am 78 yrs old and my piano, now a Bosendorfer , has been my life's companion. One of my closest friends is Russian pianist of high caliber. Hoping to get my granddaughter started on the piano, although she is also doing karate!

Her piano teacher was thrilled and preparing her to level up to audition for a couple of conservatories she was seriously considering when she started seriously dating, and she sidelined her interest in piano altogether not long after. He's a good young man and I like him. He encouraged her to continue, but her heart just wasn't in it anymore. So i can't blame him. But the lovely antique blonde Knabe grand I bought for her now gathers dust. I hope it turns out differently in your granddaughters case.

Classical music like this is underrated. It's beautiful and can increase brain function.
"Rating" has nothing to do with it in my opinion. One either has it internally or not. The logic is universal, literally. Interstellar space vibrates with the same logic.

All this us so new to me, but I am an Inquisitive mind and, recently, the discovery of A real exceptioonal Pianist, who seems to PLAY WITH HIS BRAINS while playing with his hands and beautiful snd supple fingers (as if he was hardly touching the notes but yet at a speed never seen...??). Please my friend, help me to understand this phenonenon -- or otherwise, kindly guide me How and Where to find true real clarifications.

懐かしいけれど、再び↩️ことはない、そんな郷愁に、胸がつまり、甘い喜びがよみがえる、悲しいけれど、幸せが、必ず誰しもが覚えている、そんな思いを、美しく表現力している、８番を、わすれないでしょう。
「ピアノの詩人」…言い換えると美しくも悲しい思いを、何か芸術に代えてくれる、それをつずった作品を、ノクターン夜想曲集…言い換えられます。その濃い陰影をピアノ作品の響きで、感受すると、カタルシス😢という必要なことがなされる、神様の不思議の一つであろう。…陰影、作者の人生、40にも届かないけれど、激しい恋愛、迫り来る死の影、結核に苦しみながら、ピアノを弾きつずけて、その時代を生きぬいた、凄絶な日々を重ねるのかもしれない。

That may be true but I will say I’m a non-musician neophyte. My wife teaches piano, was the American College age champion on her instrument (pipe organ) when she was seventeen and graduated from the number one music school on full scholarship. However I can hear the music clearer than she can. Her mind unfortunately is prejudiced with rules, dismay and constructs extraordinaire. I’m always showing her something she missed.
