#LinkinPark #Meteora #Meteora20 - Hudba
I appreciate the fact that these unreleased songs come out and I would have believed they made it in the studio like last week man. Linkin Park's style will forever be timeless
📀🎼🎼🎼
There’s easy enough good material here to have released a Meteora part 2 back in 2003.
💯
For me this meteora anniversary is like time machine. Maybe we won't hear Chester anymore but he left part of him inside LP's tracks.
at first i thought it was AI generated lol
The 15 second version of this from the Making of Meteora DVD had such a huge influence on me as an awkward 15 year old kid. To hear a complete version of this song 20 years later is like a dream come true. Thank you Linkin Park for giving me this gift today!
imma grab my copy of the DVD and watch it again!
Same man, that hook was a favourite with rob drumming. So good, can't believe finally been released
Hey, didn't they use the beat from this for their meteroa shows. Just want to know.
Dude I've ENDLESSLY SEARCHED FOR THIS SONG SINCE THAT DVD. Now to hear it is crazy.
Rob in the studio yeah I remember
I remember being a 14 years old boy in a small Italian city, on the bus to school, at 7am. A friend of mine comes to me with a CD player. "you need to hear this", his eyes are somehow shiny. I plug the in ears and he presses "play". Suddenly "papercut" hits me. I vividly remember that something clicked in my head. "What the heck is this? Why I feel different than a moment ago? Music can really be THIS good?". Linkin Park have been my gateway to post-grunge and metal. Hearing this newly released songs today, as a 35 years old man, makes me feel exactly the same as that 14 year old boy again. Thank you Linkin Park for this.
yes!! LP came out when I was 14-15 and I love feeling like that girl again 💗
i have the same
Parole sante!!!
I feel the same thing
I was about 9 when I heard hybrid theory, an older friend and I shared head phones on his cd Walkman and we just sat and listened in awe.
When meteora was released that album came everywhere with me and was the backdrop to many bus rides like yourself. Had to share as I resonated so much with your story :)
Lost = Numb
Healing Foot = Easier to run
= - sounds like
I feel the same
Yep
Words can not describe the majesty of the legacy that Linkin Park has built up. Thank you, Chester, Mike, Rob, Dave, Brad, and Joe. Thank you.

I actually like the fact that you mentioned everyone. As much as I love Chester, there wouldn't be a Linkin Park without all of them ❤️🙏. They are all legends

It’s safe to say that Linkin Park is one of the best bands, not just of our generation, but one of the best bands ever
Yes, the band of my generation 🔥❤
@@flamehaze59 A fellow Gen X kid I see.
It's {also} safe to say that Linkin Park is a music genre on their own. And we would advise anyone trying to prove that they're something to forfeit the game before somebody else takes them out the frame and puts their names to shame.

Unbelievable how Mike’s and Chester’s voices complement each other in such a perfect harmony. One of those rarest beauties the world gives us occasionally. I’m grateful immensely that I lived in time that allowed me to hear it.

It's as if they were made to sing with each other , its so sad we lost one of these so huge talents :/ i feel like the music industrie wont be the same again after losing chester (and not directly yet we also lost linkin park)

I personally think that this is the best unreleased track. So heavy and in all the right notes.
Same here
I agree with you
Totally agree with you, the best unreleased track for sure ❤❤❤ greetings from France for all LP fans!!!
It's a good song but I think this piano melody doesn't fit well with the heavyness of Brad's riffs..It's kinda jarring sometimes and I can totally see why they decided to not put this on Meteora
Knowing this for years as just the instrumentals then finally hearing it fully completed, words couldn’t describe how happy I was, easily one of their best unreleased tracks and maybe even one of their best tracks in general.
20 years plus and still going.. Linkin Park are truly legends

Lyrics:
It′s safe to say,
I've always felt this way
Holding back my words again
For fear, they′re uninvited
Now, it's safe to say
This point that I've been wrong, and it′s all been a mess
I listen to the cars drive by and don′t know why that I couldn't have left
But now, I′m stuck in the middle of a situation that I made appear
You be surprised at how scared of the clarity
You could be 'til you see it′s so clear
But it's like I can′t really look at it rationally
Wishing that you could look back what I see
These things happen, but actually
The things that happened have happened to me,
so don't try to tell me it's all okay
I′m reaching for this to fall away
Yesterday′s problems here again today
and it's safe to say
It′s safe to say,
I've always felt this way
Holding back my words again
For fear, they′re uninvited
But now, it's safe to say
This point you′ve been wrong, and it's all been a mess
I placed all the signals out there and don't know why that you couldn′t have guessed
And now you′re stuck in the middle of a situation that you made so real
and you gotta just play with the cards that you got until it's your turn to deal
But it′s like I can't really look at it rationally
Wishing that you could look back what I see
Everything you ever asked me to be
Is there in the smallest fraction of me,
so don′t try to tell me it's all okay
You′re reaching for this to fall away
Yesterday's problems here again today
and it's safe to say
It′s safe to say,
I′ve always felt this way
Holding back my words again
For fear, they're uninvited
But now, it′s safe to say
No more regrets (I broke them down)
No boundaries left (I broke them down)
No asking how (I broke them down)
No stopping now
It's safe to say,
I′ve always felt this way
Holding back my words again
For fear, they're uninvited
But now it′s safe to say
This fear is just a plague
I'm taking back my heart again
No longer undivided
Now it's safe to say
I think instead of « I broke them down » three times in a row it’s « I smoke/slowed them down », « I drove them down » then « I broke them down »
"I'm reaching for this from too far away"?

20 year old song that almost never was. Raised from the dead and it still rocks. Linkin Park's sound was timeless. When my album comes on the 13th and I'm going to sit in my room and listen to all the songs in order while I read the lyrics just like I did 20 years ago. I can't wait for my time machine to arrive.

I feel like people are still sleeping on Mike's verses in these new songs/demos. The rhythm and way the words flow are mesmerizing. I think Healing Foot and More the Victim have some of the best flows of any LP track I've heard. I might even say that they are the best part of the two songs.
I second this. Especially Healing Foot, because this track is personally my favorite Meteora demo. Yes, I even enjoy it more then Lost. The melodic layering of heavy guitars, piano, and violin in the background of Mike's profound wordplay and Chester's powerful vocals adds more depth to the mesmerizing atmosphere of this track. Truly underrated because i wish people would give this song just as much attention and credit as Lost or Fighting Myself.
@@evanurena8868 Fighting Myself is way too good to be looked over imo, it's quickly become one of my favorite LP songs period. It could've been on the album way back in the day and fit in perfectly. The only criticism I have for it is that the lead guitar is just a tad too raw with little variation in riffs (it really only gets to shine during the last minute of the track).
@@bellarosa_ I really love Fighting Myself as well, especially when it comes to the distorted samples of singing vocals and brad's riffs synchronizing with mikes rap verses. Mikes rap verses, the sampling, Chester's harmonies, and Brad's background riffs cohesively make the song such a powerful example of linkin park's talented production. I agree that could have been a great addition along with Lost and Healing Foot and also wish we got a live version of Fighting Myself.
You forgot Fiends by Xero.
Rock, rap with bits of keyboard mixed in. Epic, one of a kind. A recipe that was created and mastered by the one and only Linkin Park!
Falling in reverse is the only band I've seen come close but they are a bit more heavy
Chilling to hear Chester in a "new" song. RIP brother, we will always remember you and the gift you gave us all in LP.
First time I listened Linkin Park songs when I was 8 yrs old. Now I’m 28 and still mesmerized by their songs. Thank you LP for giving me memorable childhood ❤
I was 11 with Minutes to Midnight and HT ❤ and now im 27 😢❤
Me too. I knew all the lyrics to In The End in second grade. Now I’m 29 enjoying all these songs as well as Mike’s solo stuff. They’re a big influence and reason why I became a musician myself.
You and me both, same age. I got meteora, projekt reanimation, minutes to midnight and a thousand suns cds'. Unfortunately lost them due to flooding and moving houses. I hope I can recollect them again one day but tracking original cds is not hard but expensive but I'll get them all eventually back one day just for the memories and nostalgia. Linkin Park helped me out of a really dark place so it's amazing to hear new old music again after such a long time. Hearing Chester's voice again made me 8 again listening with my dad on road trips all those years ago. I hope you had a similar if not a better nostalgic experience listening to meteora again.
Didn’t listen to anything else. Only Linkin park during my teen years. Literally
Same! I still find enjoyment and new meanings in their music and lyrics
This song becomes one of my favourite Linkin Park songs from this day, and I listen them since Hybrid Theory album. I can't describe what is feeling when you are a fan and listen a song of your favourite band which is hard times nowadays, due to the absence of main vocalist, one of the best voices of all time for me. Just unimaginable feeling.
The intro only gives me the goosebumps.
This song is about no more regrets, and fighting your war. And I very much needed this pushup.
Thank you, Linkin Park, for releasing unreleased Meteora songs, and keeping Chester’s legacy alive.
I really, really am missing Chester. Rest in Peace, Chester. Wish you were still here with us.
2:11 For years we had only heard this part, and now I can officially say that it was worth the wait! LP forever 🤘🏻
We need a instrumental for this
Yes that’s the part 🥲 Surreal to hear the full track
Where had you heard this?
@@soundboy89 it was from making of meteora DVD, just a little snippet was there
Chester's voice is amazing
Mike's rap is perfect
It always shocks me when I hear his voice in things I've never heard. He'll never stop being with us
This song has been an ear worm of mine since I first saw the Making of Meteora. For almost 20 years, this song's instrumental would pop in head all because of a 30 second clip, and now I finally get to hear the full song.
They were ahead of the time, their music still sounds so good after all this time.
Music never really _stops_ sounding good. Classical is pretty good if you have the taste for it. Linkin Park didn't have some precognitive sight, they just made peak quality music. Their music will likely live on longer than any of us will, and that's a legacy that the entire band should be proud of.
Hearing Chester's voice will always be awesome. These unreleased songs are a gift. 😎
Im obsessed with this song, cant express how happy it makes me to hear it after 20 years!!! 😁❤️😁❤️
It’s amazing to finally hear Healing Foot in full, but here’s the thing: with the power of hindsight? This has traces of Minutes To Midnight & a hint of A Thousand Suns. That’s talking the production on it, the arrangement, the tones they were experimenting with here..
Honestly in their push to expand their sound on Meteora? They’d already started tapping into what would be the tectonic time that those two records [MTM, ATS] would be. Hearing tracks like this and, “She Couldn’t,” blow my mind.
Thank you Linkin Park, for everything 🙌❤️🩹

Google translate to english really doesn't help lol
Waited 20 years for this. Thought it would just be an instrumental, and was absolutely shook once Chester’s vocals came in. A monumental moment. Reminiscing, reflecting… wow. What an amazing 20 years it has been. Thanks for being there to help so many along their journeys Linkin Park.
When I saw the snippet of the Making of DVD loaded on the channel I thought, no way they finally named it,....wait is it a freaking song!?!? And to find this video and hearing that familiar piano notes in the beginning and then hearing Chester and it actually was a song! 20 so many years later and finally hearing a final product had nostalgia and a tear rolling down my eye. Linkin Park was a big inspiration of the music I grew up listening to and just makes me miss Chester more and more and loving the legacy he left behind with his band mates. RIP Chester
Feel goosebumps when hear the piano riff and memory the making of Meteora Album
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘
Not many people are talking about how linkin Park is coming back is some of the most difficult times of this generation. We can gladly say that they where when we needed them the most ❤️
Damn, what a awesome song! Thx LP for bringing me back in 2003. Even the unreleased songs are a masterpiece. I hope you will find a way how to come back to us with a new album, concerts and bring us hapinnes, and show the new generation what real music is. Thank you.
Thank you guys for bringing back our youth again. And... thank you Chester for still making us feel alive...
Sounds a bit like Easier to Run but it is like they got a new (or older) version of some tracks that sounds too familiar. Damn it’s so great that Linkin Park drops more of his secret masterpieces! I’ve listen to LP since I was born and now I think I’ll listen to them till I die 🔥🤘❤
Somthing about the new song's coming out are filling a hole in my soul
Thank you Linkin Park for everything you’ve ever done, it’s keeping me alive today.
The angelic sound of the piano and Chesters harmonics juxtaposed with the distorted bass and guitar is the exact thing we come to linking park for. The genuine feeling of exposure combined with the hard shell that comes with such feelings.
It is seriously so surreal when we get any new song that has Chester in it. The talent he has a vocalist will always amaze me. Good job with Mike on the rap flow of this song. It was fire!
1 year since we received this underrated masterpiece
This makes me feel nostalgic even though I’d never heard it before. Classic LP vibes.
This was recorded for Meteora. That’s why it sounds nostalgic.
This was an unreleased track from the golden days of Meteora and Hybrid Theory. When LP was freaking awesome before they ruined themselves by changing their music style.
Linkin Park siempre vivo.
The new music drops have been incredible. The mix of emotions that rise up when I hear Chester's voice in new music blows me away. Thanks, Linkin Park.
Just a post that I was here the day this track was released. Miss you Chester.
A moment captured in time. This song is an absolute time capsule. LP LIVES ON FOREVER. RIP CB
These recent releases are taking me back to Hybrid Theory days..... I can relate and connect deeply to the lyrics and I feel so emotional listening to them. This song in particular has really resonated heavily with me. Thank you..... Thank you for sharing these with the world, thank you for letting Chester's vocals live on. Thank you for being you; Mike, Robe, Brad, Joe, Dave, and of course, Chester who is still singing his heart out with each roll of thunder that passes through and the dancing droplets of rain.
Linkin Park was the first real band I got into. Their songs will always be apart of me. Hearing Chester’s voice again makes me tear up with happiness now. I love this band and thank you for making this new album and allowing us to hear Chester’s voice in a new song for probably the last time ❤️
I feel like this song has always been with me. It somehow reminds me of my childhood. It's incredible.
T fact that this song is actually getting radio play is crazy.
Chester's vocals on this song give me strong Puddle Of Mudd vibes, Reminds me of something from their first two albums.
