In today’s vlog we are exploring one of the most expensive neighbourhoods of Jakarta which is called Kuningan. The scales of the neighbourhood really made me shocked there are all the famous 4-5star hotels and extravagant apartments. Area u visited isnt bisnis centre guys but embassy area....scbd is bisnis centre....much more fancy than mega kuningan....there are two fancy malls ashta n ritz carlton hotel n mall....

even though some embassies are located there. If you noticed, the embassies are located at surrounding area only. Inside the area particularly right in the center of it... obviously there are plenty office buildings with many business occupants. Not to mention that XL is having their HQs right over there. How can you not saying it is a business district? dont just refer to SCBD when mentioning business district in Jakarta. Come on bro... SCBD isnt the only business disrict in Jakarta. Yet, the famous two are SCBD and Mega Kuningan whereas both in South Jakarta. Actually there are more business district in Jakarta but mostly in a smaller area and not having high rise tower.
Don't Miss it...jakarta fair 2024 you can find everything with cheap price .food .Snack etc ...let's go
The most expensive areas in Indonesia: scbd, Bundaran HI, sudirman-thamrin, kuningan, pondok indah and PIK. But the top of the tops are menteng and pantai mutiara. Nice vlog btw👍

Actually, your commuter card can be used to ride all available modes, it's just that the card can only be refilled at train stations / KRL commuter train stations. The most flexible card that can be refilled anywhere is the e-Money card which you can buy at Indomaret or Alfamaret outlets, or at the bank. e-Money cards can even be used to pay tolls, parking and shopping transactions as well.

There is 3 main rail transport that serves Jakarta:
1) KRL or Commuter Line, which spread all over the city and even into the surrounding Metropolitan Area, all the way into different satellite cities like Depok, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
2) LRT,, which used for long-distance travels from East area (Bekasi) to the city center. They're faster and distance between stations are longer.
3) MRT, which only limited to the core of the city which spans north-south axis.
Each serves different Area and purpose. The backbone which is KRL or Commuter Line, and you shouldn't buy the transport-specific cards, better to buy the Livin Mandiri emoney / BCA Flazz card which you can top up and use in all transportation and even shopping.
Those upper line you see is actually highways for cars haha, most LRT and MRT routes are underground in the middle of the city, only when you get to the outer city they become elevated.

Mega Kuningan also business district like SCBD, a lot of expat live on that area since theres a lot of embassies and foreign company. but SCBD is more ultra modern business district, the vibe its kinda singapore or shanghai business district i think.
If you have time, go to another part of Jakarta.. PIK 2 in north Jakarta

most of millionaries are living at south jakarta (Pondok Indah) and North west jakarta (PIK- pantai indah kapuk)...in the PIK the house like a mansion with the backyard you can park a yatch or even a helicopter, but not everyone can enter that area..

You are in office and commercial area at Mega Kuningan, it's not the most prestigious area and the mall you visited is just a regular mall.

Better from kuningan city area you next walk/trip to Kuningaan Epicentrrum Area (also looks amazing area)..and many good food court, also best movie..
And if u want to xplore higclas area, you can visit menteng/taman suropti (special rich man area.
Also u can visit IKJ/ institute kesenian jakarta,(still in menteng area), u can inside meet alot of college art/acttres from that university, ect..
Btw dont forget to TMII/ taman mini indonesia Indah (miniature of indonesia)

FYI there are 3 types of trains in Jakarta. Commuterline trains, LRT, and the most modern is the MRT. Actually, all cards can be used on all types of trains, it's just that the card you use must top up your balance at the commuterline train station.

@@travelwithbalnur haha yes, for transportation in Jakarta you should buy a type of card issued by a bank such as e-money, brizi, flazz, tapcash etc., so you can top up your balance anywhere and can be used on all types of trains, even buses, parking at malls, and toll roads.
4. LRT Jabodetabek for reach sub urban areas (Greater Jakarta) but Wasn't LRT Jabodetabek the most modern because driverless??
@@NPC2358 I think the MRT infrastructure is more modern, the stations are very neat and modern, the underground stations are just as good as the Japanese metro. The MRT is also faster and smoother than the LRT Jabodebek or LRT Jakarta. Driveless is good but that's not the only factor that means modern, the MRT also uses semi-driveless technology.
