I agree, so Spino likely would have a relationship with that Crocodile like Hippos and Crocodiles have today,which means sometimes who ambush who first wins, but i guarantee Spino likely would avoid such a fight and the Bull Crocodiles were more dangerous to encounter.

Spinosaurus and Sarcosuchus didn't co-exist...
Sarcosuchus dates back to ~112 million years while all the remains we have found of Spinosaurus eagyptiacus are from ~100 to ~95 million years ago. The Spinosaurus remains we found that date back to 112 are from another Spinosaurid species, maybe even a new one...

they both could have won. it's should just be a matter of time before one of them figures out the opponenst greatest weakness. let's start with the spino's weakness. the spinosaurus was made to be a fast and quik hunter hunting down much smaller prey, so it's skin was pretty thing compared to that of the sarco and the sarco would kill him in a single bite if he went for the head or neck. He could also just rip a leg off just by biting it. The disadvantige of the sarcosuchus is that crocodillians could close their mouth with incredible strenght but when it comes to opening their mouth they are pretty weak. See an adult could keep an american aligator's mouth closed with two hands. So if the spino started standing and stomping on the sarco's mouth there's not much he could do. Yeah pretty long comment i know.

I personally think a bite on the leg from a sarco would cripple nearly anything and the thick scales deter most other predators from attacking because of being latched onto and having a limb ripped off

These are very out dated facts sarcosuchus grew to 9-10 meters and weighed 3-4 tons. The bite force is also way too high. If you want the best mega croc look at purussaurus

You do realise that if sarco were to leap from the water and grab spino’s leg, 99% of the time that would be game over for spino. 9t bite force on any part of the body would instantly crush bone and destroy that limb.

Well, in the game Path of Titans where you can play as either of these two, encounters between them do happen.
Usually, on land Spino has the advantage, in water Sarco is much more maneuverable and can easily catch Spino in his blind spots.
