Dimash is definitely my favourite singer....anytime. loves to listen to him...loves to look at him. Could listen to his singing everyday and not get bored.
The remaining contestants/performers were each required to do one single original song of their own -- this was Dimash's own song that he wrote when he was still in his teens - it's a love song. Note that he also sang in both the original Kazakh as well as in Chinese through the song.

@@jakewood5475 Dimash most probably would've won if the competition was with mainly unknown singers, the show is usually with well known singers with a good reputation, going against each other. Dimash was brought in as a wildcard, at that time he wasn't known internationally.
Dimash also wrote "Love of Tired Swans" in Russian. Also incredibly beautiful.

Just for the record: He composed this song himself when he was a teenager. There's a G7 note in this song that he hit when he performed it as teenager, and he hit D8 note not long ago with this song in Gakku Festival.

The first stanza was in Kazakh, then the second one was in Chinese, the lyrics having been translated by a famous Chinese Kazakh writer. The last four lines have become standard fare now for the Dears (his fans) to sing to him whenever they meet him at an airport: “You are the lover of my dreams, You are the light of my dawn, the beloved of hundreds, the girl idolized by thousands.” Except the Dears change the last lyrics to: the young man idolized by thousands.
He sang this song at the Gakku concert, where in the ad lib section, he threw in an astounding D8 note that lasted 5 seconds!
Two days ago, after the Changsha concert- the first leg of his D-Dynasty world tour- he nearly got mobbed at the airport where a stampede of fans ran after him! They sang this too!

José Luis García that is a stupid statement because there is no such thing as the best voice just like there is no such thing as the best song preference is all it is. To you it my be the best but not me. Because I listen to old school r&b and dimash's voice does not fit many places. He has amazing control but not my prefered tone and remember singing is subjective not objective.

José Luis García I agree with u. We can't have the best song because that is subjective but we can have the best voice in the world because it can be measured qualitatively n quantitatively. Whether u like it or not (which is subjective again) has nothing to do with whether it's the best. And u don't have to be able to do all genres or dance or play instruments etc to be the best VOICE.
José Luis García the best voice.would be able.to sing all genres and tones, his tone is unique and does not match almost any popular genres. Watch episode 5 and you will notice how bad he sings r&b songs and many different genres. You still did not get the point. Because if we go by range georgia brown has him beat and she sounds really bad compared to many singer with lower range. People prefer different artists for different songs that suite them. Dimash specifically chose these songs for this competition becuase they complement his voice and style. Your opinion is not fact and you need to accept that.
José Luis García no measurement that pertains to ones voice could ever be objective and if you wanna talk range than he is not the highest and his vocal control at the higher ranges is very strained and weak. Opinions with your version of facts is still subjective. If you can not understand what I am trying to say then there is nothing I can do and wish you all the luck in the world. I've never heard or seen another singer that feels the music the way he does. The passion he evokes and conveys is astounding. So powerful, so beautiful, so mesmerizing. I actually prefer not knowing the words, it allows me to absorb every emotional nuance that Dimash pours into each song. He is beyond compare.

Dimash not only hits high notes but he can actually enunciate and phrase his words all in the whistle register. I always refer to this as my hands down favorite also even tho he didnt hit his highest notest (D8!) on this like he does usually. The steady buildup and crescendo here is just perfect.

I have been watching Dimash videos and Dimash reaction videos for about 2 months now. Without a doubt, you two are my favs to watch. I was looking so forward to this reaction. Marco, I especially relate to you in the reactions. Just the look of pure contentment on your face at certain points in each of your Dimash reactions reminds me of myself. And of course, the looks of shock and bewilderment during your first few exposures to Dimash, are me as well. I watch at least one of your Dimash reactions every single day. Dimash has a voice that speaks to me and I literally crave to hear it. Thank you for your reactions!

Thank you very much for reaction. I am glad you like it. You will be surprised with next video. It contains two songs. First is an old Italian song and the second is from the movie The fifth Element. That song is still technically impossible for humans, if you haven't listened to the original song (which was actually computer generated). There is some female singers who can sing it but not so fast as in the movie and I really don't know about any male who tried to sing it. And more over Dimash sang the last note even higher than the original. And when I tell you that this is not even his best version then you will have to react to this song once again from the concert Bastau, to experience his real singing ability.
