All support is hugely appreciated and it helps me keep the channel going!
No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk along Chrome Hill, otherwise known as the dragons back, due to its dramatic appearance, looking like a dragons spine. It's quite the hike to get to the top, but is totally worth it for the views over the peak district. Also, lots of sheep!

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to CZcams. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Just discovered your channel and I feel like I have found my own personal piece of heaven. Subscribed and clicked on that bell. Don't want to miss a single one of your vids. Now, to slowly catch up. Wonderful channel. Thank you! Wish I had this kind of scenery to go on long walks.
Welcome aboard! Delighted you are enjoying my content, I've much more yet to come!
Paradise on the earth!❤
Paradise, just paradise. If Paradise were cold and rainy.
I love English countryside !! So beautiful and tranquil ~ Awesome ambiance 😉👍💕
Thank you!
The view from the Dragon’s Back is probably my favorite of all of your videos that I’ve seen. I love the patchwork look of the fields separated by rock walls. I like all of your videos, but I love the ones with animals and waterfowl and, of course, a view. 👍🦢🦆
🙏. 👍за труд и зелёные Холмы.
Spectacular. If your google maps link had redirected me to somewhere in The Shire, I would have believed it.

What a fabulous walk! It would take me days due to stopping all the time to take a photo! beautiful. Thank you. It is so lovely to watch for those of us who are unable to explore like this now.

Truly you have been blessed with an opportunity to experience such beautiful locations and just being close to the mother nature is enough and thanks for your videos as you are letting others have some kind of that divine experience may not be in person but its still fantastic and rarely do I get a chance to experience the things which you are showing to others, thanks dave.

Espectacular.
Great hill walking
I lived in the uk for close to 8 years while I was still in primary school. Naturally Watching this video makes me feel a minor degree of nostalgia for England. It’s good to see that England preserves its nature. Can anyone tell me How it is in the countryside?
So much greenery and such a stunning view from the hill. Looks like a pleasant walk.😍
It's a lovely walk, a bit steep in places but fairly manageable!
Breathtaking views especially at the top of the hill, I could make a wallpaper out of every frame. This is how I imagine paradise looks like.
Thank you! yeah there was some pretty amazing views on this hike!
Hmmm I want to talk to those sheep Mbeeeeeee !!!
Beautiful landscape. Love that English weather also. Awesome video Dave.💎

Magnificent
lovely
Thank you :)
Heavenly ❤💯❤️
Over every little hill, tall hill, around a corner, under an Arch you could find sheep wherever you went. It was like heaven with God's love for his wee sheep who surround him everywhere. I thought you might curl up in that rock out-crop and take a wee nap! This is one grand video! Don't miss it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Glad you enjoyed it Janet, there was indeed a fair few sheep on this treck!
Amazing ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍👌👌👌

I am first one for support you
From indonesia.
Thank you!
Have you noticed that in minute 19:58 something crosses the screen coming from the right to the left ?
You can see something passing just in front a tree in the background in the middle of the image that looks like a sparkle.
having just had a look, I think it is a bee, or a wasp..
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your no talking walks! While I quite enjoy the companionable ramblings of an interesting mind (like John Rogers) I have been longing for videos that let me think about whatever I like, which is after all why so many of us love solitary meanders. And as an American who lived (far too briefly) in the UK, I can say there's nothing like the British countryside, if you know where to go. And I especially appreciate the lack of a soundtrack, other than the natural sounds of the environment wherever you are. But up that steep hill...why can we hear your feet, but not your breathing? Hello? Dave? You're still breathing, right?
Haha, so I have a directional mic which only pick up the sounds of what it is aiming at. Trust me sometimes at a top of a hill I am most certainly wheezing and breathing heavily and hoping the mic isn't capturing it. That said, the more I walk the better and healthier I am getting with it!
Love you walks, I’m addicted. However, I was wondering why we never see any critters, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, etc.
I am just bad at catching them on camera, they tend to hide when they here me coming, I do have some footage of critters, they are just rare to get on camera.
Dragonbec walk done today a g😮 walk thanks Annx23 May 2023
hi Dave from Virginia USA 🇺🇸 I noticed when you went thru the 2nd gate there was a post that said PUBLIC FOOT PATH, so my questions are that's still private property & owners allow you to walk it ? lovely walk ..thank you
public footpaths are rights of way on public and private land
It is still private property, and the owners are jointly responsible along with the council for the upkeep of the public footpath. It's not that owners allow us to walk on public footpaths through their property, It is the council/government which allows us. Don't know much more on this I am afraid.
@@DavesWalksChrome Hill is a concessionary path can be closed by landowner
Goooood from iraq
is anyone following the train tracks. ??
An American You Tuber is rewilding American native plants I watched this with sound down
why England and the UK has nearly no trees and forest ?
You may want to check some of my other videos, England and the UK certainly has a good fair few trees, woodlands and forests 👍😃
Are you judging the amount of trees on this video alone?
