I had such a discouraging day, what with professional troubles, I struggle interpersonally to make my life function, part due to who I am, partially from CPTSD, which I was diagnosed with (without the C), recently. I feel like I trudge through a sea of people each and every day with my head floating above water, and by the time I come home I’m so drained and discouraged. This video gave me half an hour of peace and allowed me to disappear into the darkness of the couch. I know you’ve struggled with ptsd Emma. Thank you for doing what you do.

💜 Hello my lovely sweet Emma 💜 I hope you’re doing well. I feel I would probably fall asleep if I got a spa treatment from you, lol. Just listening to your voice alone makes me feel at ease with everything. I’ve been trying to organize through some things this week in my bedroom. It still feels like spring here so I figured I’d do some “spring cleaning”, lol. This is so odd for February, usually during this time of the year we have at least a foot and a half of snow on the ground, but we see more ground than snow around here now. I’m loving it! I really love ASMR artists who are over the age of 30. No disrespect to younger artists but the presence of a kind assuring woman takes me to a time when I was younger when teachers would give me comfort or whisper around me when we were taking a test. I don’t know something about it is nice. I would love more recs on other ASMR artists over the age of 30 (50s+ would be great - I didn’t grow up with a grandma). I try to look that up but I unfortunately get weird results

For me, the ASMR experience that you create via the sounds and visuals is already perfect. You seem to get it spot on every time. You know how to tap into the imagination of the viewer and create the best tingles and relaxation. So, for me, I’m not sure AI could improve this lovely thing here. Anyway, I’m just thinking out loud lol.

Pro-tip: slow to .75x speed (this video specifically). My favorite video is her weighted sound blanket video and the speed there is just right for decompression and she naturally slows and calms as it progresses. Putting this video at .75x slows her down enough to make it comparable to that other video. ETA speed for decompression into deep sleep
I'm the opposite I usually speed very slow videos to 150 or more.
