Not really a musical fanatic but I saw the stage musical in London,it was AWESOME and I have it on DVD. I'm also not ashamed to admit I've seen the stage musical Mamma Mia although I've yet to pluck up enough courage to buy the DVD in Tesco's in case some of my rock fan mates see me.🤣🤣🎸🤟

Completely underrated movie. In the 80s or 90s with this top cast (especially Tom Cruise) and music, it would have been a box-office hit. Perhaps you might have to go through the 80s yourself, to be able to judge this objectively.
I live in Northern Ireland and I went over to London to see my first ever NFL game at Wembley and the Rock Of Ages musical the night before. Even though I didn't have a pre bought ticket for the show,as I flew out that morning to see the game the next day (I was afraid of my flight being delayed),it took me ages to find the theatre AND I missed the first ten minutes it was WELL worth the effort. Plus my beloved 49ers beat the Broncos the next day. BEST WEEKEND EVER!! 🏈🎸
I had very big doubts about this movie when it 1st came out and decided to give it a chance the other night and im glad I watched it. So many great songs from my teens and I didn't know that tom could sing so that was an awesome bonus
As a reviewer that this one of the best rock movies that has has alot of rock music and alot of girls that are in this movie yet the music and the acting are some of the best because when you combine rock and and actors you have one of the biggest rock concert movies that you hear many groups music and tracks from Deff Leapard and Bonjovi . And the ever popular song called pour some sugar on me that is the ultimate rock song .
I wish Tom would do more of these types of movies-not discounting Mission Impossible but he's really a different character here which shows his real acting chops.
