Jodi was later diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder. And her defense tried to use it to explain what she did. I HATE this case for that alone. BPD is heavily stimgatized and this case played all of us out as heartless killers.

Big time! I think I watched this case like a week ago and now with Bailey it looked so fresh. I just enjoy her videos so much.
My partners uncle was part of the interrogation in this case. He said that despite the fact that she had a really innocent and soft voice and appearance, her eyes were what gave her way. He said her eyes were just pure evil and he was super uneasy when trying to speak to her.

When parents do this kind of thing to their children and teach them that it's love they go on to model that behavior in their other relationships because they don't know what's healthy. Controlling or abusive parents raise children who either get into a lot of abusive relationships or who abuse others a lot because they just don't have an idea of right or wrong. Of course not all are this extreme. But it sadly happens.

Out of all the bizarre things in this case, what baffles me, is the fact that Travis was in the house for almost a week and his roommate had NO CLUE. Even if he thought he wasn’t home, how did he not smell or realize anything?

The irony in that Jodie felt her parents were violating her privacy as a teen only to do the same to Travis but a couple steps worse. Poor guy, he did so well for himself escaping his awful parents and not falling into the same despair so many abused and neglected children fall into, only to end up with a monster like her.

Being neglected as a kid probably left him vulnerable to the attention Jodi gave him. When no one cared about your needs as a kid, it's hard to resist someone who wants to give you all of thier attention and thinks you're so special (even if it's in a creepy stalker way). His friends were able to see through it but they couldn't make him stop giving into her.
@@Amandcr 100%, she knew straight away that he was the kind of person she could manipulate. That's why she pursued him so hard. If his friends hadn't caught her eavesdropping that time, she probably would have married him and begun isolating him from all his friends and family.

Also, even if a man wouldn't get bruises from his wife hitting him, she is still an abuser
Well in some cases that paranoia and such comes from abuse of past partners.. not that justifies it.
