When we took our trip with the BBC, we used these noise-canceling headphones for Will, who has auditory sensory issues. Here's what we thought!

I love watching these kids. They are so cute! Great idea on how to get Will to wear his headphones. I've not had as much success at getting my boy to wear them. You are an awesome mom! And Will did great!

I need one for my 3 year old girl. She is also autistic and sensory sensitive especially to noise. She couldn’t even keep up with pre k! If I had know a this before but well Parenting is a never ending learning process. Your kids are beautiful btw!! Blessings! And thanks for sharing this.
I have the pink ones! I have sensory processing disorder and I am sensitive to noise and I get anxious or sensory overload. Another brand you can try is Ezarc, they are really good headphones as well and also the brand on and off are great as well
My name is Terri. I have ADHD and I use sensory headphones because I have sensitive ears every time I hear thunder or fireworks or fire engines sirens or when I went to the memorial day parade, they would shoot guns I would cry and cry and cry and cry, but to use earplugs and it was good until they tear apart then I use sensory headphones. They were working good until they broke until I got a new pair and they were so good and it helps me a lot every time there’s a thunderstorm I would wear them and it blocks out the thunder or any loud. Sounds like if I go to amusement park sometimes it’s very loud and I wear them and it helped me a lot.
I got my first pair a week ago but I never expected it to work so well! I have very sensitive hearing and I get easily overwhelmed with too much noise. I now wear them in supermarkets, school etc. Its has really helped me :)

Will is so cute! My son is severely autistic and makes loud noises and often covers his ears when we're out in public. I'm wondering if headphones like these would decrease his noise level and help him with uncomfortable noises. My son also doesn't like headphones so before I spend the money, I'm going to try to get him used to wearing regular headphones
Yes! Great idea! Will hated them too at first. You can see in the progression of the video that we had to just brace ourselves a little bit for his resistance and then over the course of about a day, with us kinda holding them on his head, it got better. Now he wears them any time we go out. 👏🏻👏🏻😝

I’m very late to this video so I’m not sure if you will see this comment, but I was wondering how does it work when going through the metal detectors? Did he have to take them off to go through… I’m so scared incase I go on holidays and won’t know what to do. I’m autistic and have extreme noise sensitivity because of my sensory issues
