- Handlebars are your connection to controlling your bike! They keep you on it, which is important... kinda... but your speed of response and handling is greatly impacted by a small overlooked factor that can drastically improve your connection and responsiveness to your motorcycle.
You can have any style of handlebar you want these days... Ape hangers, Z-Bars, Track Bars, you name it. Each handlebar design should suit the style you're going for on your motorcycle build as well as your personal ride posture preference. But a a great way to improve your bikes responsiveness is to switch from rubber handlebar bushings to solid handlebar bushings.
Worried about vibration? Watch the video and TJ explains how it works!
Here is a link to the bushings! shoptjbc.com/p...
Not long ago, I went to swap my risers and saw how jacked my rubber bushings were. Drilled them out and had a family friend who has a lathe make a pair of aluminum bushings. It took some trial and error, but definitely made all the difference in the ride!
Just got these today and installed them right away 😁. Now...thay are not solid, the bars still moves so i thought that no its worst cause now i had rubbing aluminum parts. So what i did was made some spacers for the bottom and they my risers are solid...no flex. I think you should make a complimenting piece for the bottom and sell it as a kit. Anyway just a thought. Love what you do man .
Once I'm ready to get in my garage, I'll make an order. Mine are perfect for now. But, that just looks better.
Installed these bushings a week back and the front end is solid as hell now. Thanks dude!
Did u have any wobble before hand.?
Watched, liked, and ordered. I've been waiting for you to make these, so thank you!

This video really helped me out thank u ! Excited to change my bars out and risers and bushings !
Just ordered some so my apes won't be wobbling about. Cheers bud!
Won’t that increase vibration? Or is it not as noticeable as I imagine while doing 80 mph ? Love the videos
Also, Can you someday do a video on how to pivot the handlebars upward on a 2004 Honda shadow 1100 spirit?
Dude whose bars have a 4 inch play on them!? 😆 🤦🏻♂️
But seriously, adding to Jimmy’s question, what are the benefits of solid vs rubber spacers? Bc the options of getting new rubber is there as well.
I’m on the fence on swapping and seeking legit comparisons.
And I’m assuming you have tons of experience using both options.
KIDS!
Don’t ride bikes with 4” handlebar play 🤣 😎
I need a pair asap.
BEER!!! Beer is pretty awesome!
I had apes on my bike 2 years ago...Way too dangerous.. thx for exc video
As a plumber, I would have went to the pipe wrench right away!

@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS - Yep.
had the same thing today with the riserbolts :p, i removed the lights n shit, and putted a vicegrip on it with a really high pressure grip en that made it come of like nothing :)
Just ordered these. Noticed slop in the bars and was looking for something to replace those rubber pieces that are squishy now.
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS no, thank you for making this
Hi. I tried the bushings and the bars still wiggles around. I ended up breaking one of the riser bolts. I noticed it was the inner bushing they kept moving around so I drilled them out and now I’m trying new riser
Did you install the washers as well?

TJ I just got my set of the aluminum ones and they came with 4. 2 of them are not as thick and they're bigger in diameter. Can you some tell me what the 2 that don't fit in the triple tree are for? It doesn't show 2 different sizes on your website. Thanks!

Hey man, maybe you can help me out: I've got a 1986 Honda Shadow VT700c, and there is some play in my handlebars when I push/pull them kind of hard. My riser design looks different from the one you show here, is there a solution for me? Or is *some* flex intentional design?
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS no worries, I appreciate the response
Does anyone know what handlebars are on that bike?
BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do these fit a 1994 Shadow 1100?
Awsome product will they fit an 02 vt1100c spirit ?
Drill them out and change those stockers out. You're almost unlimited in available designs and styles.
Would you know if those are compatible with a 2013 Honda interstate?
Is it possible for a dual carb to have two different air fuel mixture setting?
Would these bushings going bad cause death wobble?
Good video though man, no offense ment from previous comment. The wrench was definitely though lol.
Yeah crescent wrenches don't work very good when they are used backwards
Will it help at all. With a bit of wobble?
What year Honda shadow is this? I want to order these stock risers.
How do I order those risers?
Can this help with vibration? I've added weighted ends already and that helped.
Rubber reduce vibrations, solid metal makes it worse
where do you find those handle bars?
Yuck Foo! Motha Yucker. lol
Love your vids bro.
I'm rocking '95 vlx600.
