Having poured hundreds of hours into Dark Souls 1. I would be concerned about only a handful of things attempting this. And *Gravity* would be the most concerning.

I've started playing DS 1 again too 3 days ago. I am really happy to see people give it attention again. Feels like I am not ''alone'' in this.
It's a great game (like all fromsoft games). Personally, the DS1 from the start up until Gwynevere is maybe that company's peak when it comes to narrative and rewarding experience.

The games directed by Miyazaki are all so wonderful, but Dark Souls is easily my favorite. Not perfect by any means, but there's just something so special about it to me.

@@tobiasmccallum9697 that is one title I never was able to play since it’s a ps exclusive. If it was ported to Xbox I definitely would or if it is on the PS Store for PS5 (I’ll get one this summer). I’ve heard great things about it and have only seen a little gameplay but it looks amazing. FromSoftware has the best enemy designs I’ve ever seen 🔥

Wow, I never played this before, but I did play Elden Ring. I can see now how Elden Ring stayed true to its roots for older fans while bring in new ones like me to the Souls genre. Very nice.

Maybe Asmon mentioned it already, but you can use Dung Pies to inflict yourself with a MUCH less lethal version of toxic. Then, you're immune to the more deadly version. It makes dealing with the toxic dart assholes much more manageable.

I was a few hours ahead so it was entertaining to see you struggle with the parts I just powered through. @@RealCornWallace doing a similar thing, I have finally commited to play DS1, and I watch videos like this in parts over the course of days, playing a couple areas blind and then watching how others tackled it, I get benefits of blind playthrough plus some pointers like location of zweihander which did carry me hard early game lol

I remember watching on stream when he first played this good times.
Stone armor set is the best heavy armor you can get early and is only surpassed by Giant +4/5 and Black iron +4/5 and even then it have higher poise and lightning resist.

Any idea how that happens? Never had this problem of flailing my arms and falling of the ladder backwards in Dark Souls 1.
@@mastermill79 I always thought an enemy had to hit you when you had no stamina on a ladder. But apparently if you run out of stamina at all you'll fall off.

The most important difference between the Zweihänder and the Claymore is the difference in weapon category and the resulting difference in poise you need to withstand their guard break. Ultra Greatswords have almost 150% of poise requirement of what Greatswords have. Which is what makes the Zweihänder "beat" the Claymore.

It's faster to spam through Oscars dialogue rather than kill him and if you do a jump attack off the ledge for the boss you'll get a burrito combo that does more damage

I think it’s because and what he said is very true, once you figure out the move sets of the enemies and the bosses, it becomes surprisingly easy

Yeah. When I played DS the first time I remember struggling so so so hard, and then after Bloodborne, DS2, and Elden Ring I returned to it and did a FAR better job. Game isn't easy at all, but you can learn and make it look and feel easy

Good thing asmongold didn't get the greatclub in blighttown it does more damage than the zweihander and has a A in strength and has more AR asmongold still hasn't realized if you cutt the dragons tails off you get dragon weapons.
