I wish losses in boxing weren't so looked down upon by fans. Especially when they are fighting elite competition. MMA has made it okay to lose because you are always fighting the elite.
Exactly and this is why boxers donât fight each other because as soon as someone loses they are a bum and overrrated and trash.

Definitely, their two different styles and skill sets are going to make this very interesting
This is one of the fights I can't wait to see
I got Wilder for this one. For Ruiz to win, he'll have to be able to collapse the distance consistently. Even then, Wilder has shown that he can generate insane power in awkward positions on the back foot.
People might make fun of Wilder's technical skills (especially of a younger Wilder), but he has clearly always had the timing for the sport. He knew when to take his shots. Combined with his power, that's a scary dude.

@@ucmeytsc7302 boomâŠroasted!!!
Wilder cant box. They say.
I agreee. I hope he is learning.
To a casual observer it does seem pointless, I'll admit. But look deeper and you'll note that in fight one Wilder weighed 212.5 and retained enough power to very, very nearly KO Fury very late into the fight, proven by an extremely hard knockdown. In fight 2 he came in weighing 231, the heaviest of his career and complained about his legs feeling tired and blamed it on the costume. Whatever, he was cardio-deficient and gassed going in, and Fury totally surprised him(and everybody else)by attacking and putting him on his back foot, which he hadn't trained for and didn't know how to handle. In fight 3 I think he worked on his cardio and had a lot of zip early, but weighed 238, the new "heaviest of his career" and also gassed early, but poured his heart out trying to win. The moral of the story is, Deontay, stay at your natural weight to have optimal endurance and speed.
@@thomaspondysh957 blah blah blah excuses excuses. You're also conveniently ignoring how out of shape Fury was in the 1st fight coming back from long retirement and mental illness.

Most likely, you're bang on point. In theory, it's so simple to beat Wilder, but he only has to land once in 36 minutes, and it's all over. Unless your Tyson Fury, who can be put to sleep but be 100% fine a few seconds later.
This gonna be a good fight! I don't see it lasting 12 rounds tho.
If Ruiz was to get to a solid 250 lbs and work on slipping past attacks to get in close like other shorter heavy weights of the past, he would be amazing.

Your videos always got me hyped!
I'm going to be an outlier. I think this goes the distance with multiple knockdowns. The potential for Ruiz and Wilder to both show up ready to rock is high. The likelihood that they will both be very cautious for the opening rounds is high. The heart they both display is regularly high. The reward for success here is also very high. I think we're looking at a knockdown ratio of 2:1 in favour of Wilder and a split decision as a result. Ruiz is one tough dude and Wilder has to be cautious of how aggressive Ruiz can be. This will be fight of the year for HW.
I expect Ruiz to be wary and Wilder to be aggressive enough to try to land the big right, and for Ruiz to catch him with a counter. Can Ruiz lay him out with a punch? Maybe. Maybe not. Should be a good fight.
If ruiz chin holds up he's fine. I actually couldn't believe he took the shots he did from king kong. If he can get it to later rounds and actually get inside the the fast hands without eating crazy shots he can easily fatigue wilder
FACTS
Only issue is Andyâs height. Itâs either going to help him or hurt him. One of these guys is going to get hit on the back of the head in this fight so it isnât going the distanceS Wilder is either going to land a looping punch that clips Andy behind the ear or Andy is going to get inside and land a looping hook to the back of Wilders head.
@@bEtHeSdA_LAME_sTuDi0s the scariest thing about wilder though, he still has that power in rd 12 as shown vs fury in their first fight. Dunno if Ruiz has the same hitting power as Gypsy King but if hes close, he might be able to win

@nat turner hop off groid
I have zero emotion or bias, I just think Ruiz is bigger and stronger and can take a punch, he's never been knocked out, and he's got really fast hands. If wilder tries to exchanges haymakers with him and doesn't stay away from him, he's toast. He needs to try to out box him or wilder will lose.
@nat turner You don't watch very closely do you. You're not very perceptive. Fact 1. He's never been knocked out. Fact 2, he's just bigger and stronger than wilder. He's shorter with less reach, so if wilder boxes with him he might win a decision, but he won't knock him out, and the longer wilder is in the ring with Ruiz, the more chance wilder will get hit with a big shot. Ruiz beat the crap out of Joshua, watch the fight. Joshua beat him in the second fight by running from him. I don't give a crap what nationality Ruiz is, he punches hard and fast and can take a shot. If he gets inside on Wilder, game over.
