Hook comes out the pink side, belly on the the bottom. Cut off the bait holder with clippers, wrap with thread or dental floss, then glue it on with super glue gel. Will tear up 75% less grubs. Caught 14 straight on the Bobby Garland with one bait.

Then why does it have a cut on the green side for the hook to come out? I know what you’re referring. Richard genes method.

JMartin. I think the cut is to make it more weedless I run the hook out the cut side until it is tore up so badly i flip it around. It will catch Crappie either way! 🐿

@@FishinwithSquirrel thank god you commented back. Cus I rigged up tons of new jigs the way you do. Only I supper glued em. And got confused that I had it the wrong way😜 also do you notice any big difference between painted jigs and unpainted?

@@jmartin1915 I have only fished unpainted jigs on my ultralight set up with 2# test line. 64oz jigs. But I can tell no difference in the bite between painted and unpainted. Having active target sonar for a while now I will say that speed seems to matter more than color of the jig. 🐿

Morning squirrel, I was wondering if you would do an experiment with your active live for me. I only bank fish at the moment so no fish finder at all. It's been said that fish will hit a plastic more readily if it's threaded on the hook upside down to resemble a dying fish than one threaded on right-side up. I would really like to know their reaction. Thanks. Really enjoy the videos. Been watching and liking all week-end.
