In 2024, the entry requirements for Malaysia are a bit more complicated than before. You need to fill out the MDAC in advance and provide a return ticket, a daily accommodation list, etc. (You can provide the address of your stay in Malaysia, either at a friend's or relative's place).
Our flight landed around 8 p.m. this time, possibly during a less crowded period. From disembarking to clearing immigration, and then retrieving our luggage, the entire process took about half an hour. The overall procedure was smooth, and the ticket information was very clear, minimizing the chances of going in the wrong direction (as long as you follow the yellow signs, you won't go wrong).
Additionally, we arrived at KLIA1, so the video showcases the immigration process at KLIA1. The process at KLIA2 should be similar
