Looks really great, I do have a suggestion though.
You should add animations to your entities, it makes the game a bit nicer.
Take examples like the game “House” or “Faith”, Maybe work with the jump scares and the player too.

I have an idea
1: In level ! or RUN FOR YOUR LIVE you should make so that the entities are as fast as the player to give a tiny bit more intensity and stressfullness to make it be more RUN or DIE
2: In level 1 you should make a power outage event that will happen randomly
To make it stop you need to 1: survive 7 MINUTES in the event or find all 3 power generators that an arrow will lead to.
3: Konami code wich is a combination of up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A if you are on keyboard or if you are in mobile you could make a achievements tab and once you complete all achievements in the mobile version you get the cheat menu wich might have a cheat making you transform into a fat italian called Peppino Spaggheti
4: Chase theme for monsters?
5: Hallucinations like a bacteria peaking around a corner, a faceling with a face, a house or no entites at the start of level !
Or the best one 6: ADD HARDCORE MODE
Great vid for someone so young. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. So far the only thing i've done on yt is post my music, but I might start posting vids to give sneak peaks for a game I'm working on.
The arrows spawn on the other side of walls. Pitfalls is so hard and broken that my dad who has been playing video games since the 1990s says it is broken.

looks wonderful! but please please i beg make the player's pixels the same size as the bg it just makes me sad :(((
you should add a feature where ur character can only see infront himself (like a v shape and you can move where the light is facing along with ur character) which would totally amplify the horror plus better sound effects for the monsters (esp level 0/1) because sound is everything (horror games like the nun nail it very well)

Yo, i like this game a lot and i have a little idea that you can try to add to the game (I'm not inventing it, it's in the official wiki). I think you could like add some sort of item to consume (even almond water that's already in the game) once in a while to maintain your sanity and prevent becoming a wretched (a red fleshy creature).

Thanks! For putting the game on App store, in my experience, it's this long painful process where you need an Apple computer and gotta fiddle around with certificates, keychains, and a bunch of stuff that's way over my head haha

I doubt the backrooms is copyrighted, I think it like scp which multiple people made their own version but instead the backroom is more like an project that anyone can make versions, I think and scp have no single canon

Anyway, about the void bug at level 0, you can take the opportunity to do the [REDACTED] level, why should you do that? because in the wiki talks That you can unclip the void and that takes you to the [REDACTED] level hope you like the idea :)
