ANG NAPAKASARAP NA VISAYAN VERSION NG KINILAW AY NANDITO NA. TALAGANG MAPAPAWOW KA SA SARAP

Kinilaw
Ingredients
1/2kg Blue Marlin Fish Meat
2cups Coconut Vinegar
1/2 pc Tabon-tabon
1pc Suha
4pcs Chili
2pcs Siling Labuyo
1thumb Ginger
2pcs Onion
1 1/2Tbsp Salt
5 Stalks of Spring Onion
1/2 Tsp MSG
Procedure
*Scrape some of the the Tabon-tabon
meat and add a few teaspoon of
coconut Vinegar
*Press the Tabon-tabon meat until juice is extracted. Set aside
*Cut fish meat into cubes
*In a bowl, Add fish meat, 1Tbsp Salt, and Tabon tabon juice
*Wash the Fish with the Tabon tabon juice.
Drain. Do this quickly and don't overdo.
Otherwise, you'll end up cooking the fish.
*Add all the sliced Ingredients, mix well
*We added 2Tbsp Calamansi juice
*Add 1/2Tbsp Salt and extract juice from suha
*Add the remaining coconut vinegar, mix well
*Add MSG and chopped spring onions, mix well
Now it's ready to serve

Tabun-tabun and suha are a must in a kinilaw. Once you have it with these ingredients, you can't go back to the ones without it. It just doesn't seem right anymore. I tried a few ones without it, and it feels wrong. I think Mindanao kinilaw is simply the best for me. 😊

Mindanao version na kinilaw. Northern mindanao na kinilaw yan,. Tabon-tabon fruit at sowa,. Northern mindanao lang gumagawa nyan.. lalong lalo na sa CDO,. Ang unang gumawa ng kinilaw na may tabon2 at sowa,. Kasi sa visayas,. Native lemon lang ang gamit nila walang sowa.. sa northern mindanao minsan dalawa ang nilalagay sowa at native lemon para mawala talaga ang langsa at mawala ang dulas ng isda..
