Yes it also ruined their career , out of printing , stay hungry was a 5 star gem and this one and the more forgettable next album ( doesnt remember the name ) it was awful, no fans left , no tour , old band of the 70s trying to compete with monstrous thrash bsnds bands and with the first good hair metal bands , they were lost , no direction , only ozzy and a other already stablished band like sabbath, dio , whitesnake etc etc , TS have no place in the late 80s
Bought this album in 85, was never afraid of the dark again. AJ became my drum hero RIP, AJ. definitely in my top 5 drummers. Production was great, especially the drum sound.If you play this album loud the whole block listens and you just feel the metal boiling through your veins. I believe in rock n roll, one of my favorite riffs.Dee, Eddie, Jay Jay, Mark you guys played your ass off on this album and kicked mine into heavy metal hell forever. Thnx!

When I was a kid, my friend bought the record and I was blown away just by the album sleeve where you lifted the manhole cover and Dee would pop out! Traded it for a Venom album and drove my family friggin crazy blasting it day and night. The reference to the Warriors was killer! ahhhhh the memories!

i'm on the same boat, was looking for this album for so long and this is the day! So much memories, i was 10 or 11 and a friend introduced me to Iron Maiden and metal but my memories were indeed focused on Twisted Sister, what a masterpiece for me, i remember all song even if back then i didn't speak a word of english ;)
Twisted Sister is great & I think it's a masterful album. The opening song captures your attention and carries you into the enjoyable feel of their old school hard rocking vibe of sparking harmonies, vocals & songs. Thx Danny for this great upload!

Hallo Danny das ist eines der meist unterschätzten Alben dieser Band leider sie klingt ziemlich Heavy dieser song the fire still burns klingt für mich etwas melancholisch und ernster als die anderen Songs für Twisted Sister Verhältnisse ein bisschen ungewöhnlich melancholisch aber das ganze Album ist ein Meisterwerk wie stay hungry and under the blade das sind die drei besten Alben dieser Band kein Zweifel
Loved Ruff Cuts EP, Under the Blade, & Stay Hungry. Those were kick ass. I like this one too minus the singles really. Terrible decision to cover Leader of the Pack.
