    Day three of migration is underway, and everything has been smooth so far. I'm keeping my old server setup as a backup in case anything goes wrong with Coolify. Additionally, I'm doing daily server backups.

    You gotta love coolify, I’m using it for all my side projects. I still have to try deploying a rails app. Should be pretty straightforward

    Hi mate, can you also do a tutorial on how to deploy a custom or vanilla PHP site using Coolify? TIA

      I haven't tried that yet. I need to give it a go

    What is the benefit of Coolify? Is it more secure or faster?

    • @RaddyDev
      @RaddyDev  Před 20 dny

      Neither. It allows you to self-host different types of applications, services and databases. For example, I use it to host my WordPress blog, a Next.js-built website, a static site created with HTML & CSS, multiple databases like MariaDB and MongoDB, and an open-source analytics tool for tracking performance on some of my sites.
      I use it exclusively for personal projects. For client work, I still use managed hosting and VPS.

      You'll have to find the .htacces in your wordpress docker container and upload max size there. You could FTP or use the command line with Nano

      @@RaddyDev How much RAM and VCPU is the VPS you are running coolify in?

      Just after this video Hetzner added a new one called CX32. It has 4vCPU's, 8GB RAM, 80GB SSD and 20TB Transfer - €8.16/mo. This is what I've been using for the past 8 days. So far everything has been good

    Any way of access the files and replace with the existing files?

    • @RaddyDev

      I'll try to summarise it here: Login to Coolify and under your WP project click on Storages. From there you'll be able to see the Volume Name. Now you can SSH to your server and use that name to search and find the folder location. Then use FTP client to login and navigate to the folder and replace your files. Make a backup of wp-confing as it might be different to yours
