I'm a Tarja lover, but I think Ever Dream is a song programmed for anyone, is not that diffcult though... Anette and Floor do very well on it... Wishmaster, Sleeping Sun, Passion and the Opera, The Siren, Slaying the dreamer and others are just for a voice like Tarja!... On Anette's songs, there is not a single song where Floor can't shine :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
these older nightwish songs simply magnificent when tarja sings it.......just like the newer two albums both anette and floor did with nightwish, they done a beautiful magnificent job with the band so I'm stating all three singers for nightwish singers have their own out right, or incredible credits.....but I still give floor and anette lot of credits for performing all the nightwish older songs an out standing job ....they put out their heart and soul for the band nightwish........I love all three singers .....still do....

I disagree. Floor is as great of a singer as Tarja though in a different way. Whereas Tarja might have the more distinct out of two style with more impressive vocals in some regards (especially with the operatic head voice), she is also somewhat limited in her singing style where Floor is not. While Tarja is an amazing specialist, Floor is more versatile of the two. She may not have Tarja's extreme strengths, but she also doesn't have her weaknesses. However, both are just as amazing and Nightwish's songs with Floor are as impressive as those with Tarja. Even the songs made during Anette's tenure (which I do not find vocally impressive discounting the ones where Marco is the vocalist like While Your Lips Are still Red) are great when sung by Floor.
Good comment and I agree with you as I was devastated when Tarja was gone. Devastated let me tell you. Then came the second singer...not the same but she brought some juice to the table. Then Floor came in and I wasn't too impressed right away but then after listening to her over and over it sank in. I finally accepted change and NOW I think Floor is THE BEST singer Nightwish has ever had and she brings her presence and charisma to the table and has taken this band to the next level. She not only can hit those notes better, but she has a great stage appearance and can muscle out the best performance ever. Lots of new fans for Floor and this is coming from a loyal Targa fan but as the saying goes...Things change and there is always someone new and better. Nothing personal to the band but if the shoe fits....
P.S. Nightwish is better than they were before...almost forgot to mention that too. : ) Oh and her name is spelled "Tarja" not "Terja" since your last comment was so big on her as the band was nothin without her. I now seriously think the current "versatile" and "technically better" Nightwish frontwoman and singer can never do Tarja era songs as well as she does. And Tarja could have sing lots of DPP songs well (even Bye Bye Beautiful). She would have made Imaginareum darker and more gothic as it should be instead of it sounding like a Disney movie soundtrack.
