Homeward Bound, (Texas part 2)

This is the second part of our 2 part video series of our trip down to Texas. We went there to celebrate Ben's sister's birthday. It was a family affair with all of Ben's siblings and mother. We left off the last video with a damaged axel and uncertainty as to how to fix it. Well, we got it all figured out thanks to Troy, Ben's brother-in-law. With a new axle and tire we start the journey back home. We again travelled the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway in its entirety.
We stayed at four state parks along the way in Mississippi, Kentucky and Ohio. We had MORE TROUBLE with the trailer in Kentucky! This was a very tough trip on the truck and trailer. The interstates were horrible. We're sure the conditions of the roads had a lot to do with the damage to our trailer. We dealt with loose screws, a sliding truck cap, a damaged axle and two damaged tires before finally making it back home to beautiful Ontario, Canada. We think we're going to stay put here for a while.
