    This was very well done and well said. As a professional pitcher for 10 years I agree with everything that is said. Nice content.

    Great video, coach. You have helped my nine-year-old son out with these videos. He won game ball last game with great pitching (he also was 2 for 2 hittings + RBI). Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the videos!

    Great video for starting mechanics. I'm a first timer coaching casual Sunday baseball in the UK, this video will be super helpful for players of all age groups in our experience level. Thank you!

      Glad I can help and excited to hear baseball in the UK is up and running. I hope to get out there soon at some point. Let me know where and maybe I'll pop in. Have a great season - Coach Jay

    Great video Coach Jason! We're getting ready to start our season and are pretty excited. As a coach, I've gained a lot of knowledge about pitching and a lot of it is thanks to you. But I need to remember to keep it simple with with my 11-12 year olds. This is a good reminder of that and a great review of the basics. Happy Easter to you and yours my friend!

    This is a great video to help me be able to work with my son. He is almost 10 and this is his first year pitching unfortunately he is the only person on his team who can really pitch and will be pitching most games. I would like to help him learn the foundation, the three drills you mentioned doing daily how many reps do you recommend per day?

    These boys seem to be thrown off by the mound too. Any suggestions?

    Love your videos. They really help my 9yo son. Could you give me some info/plans on the mounds you use? Materials and dimensions?

      Thanks for the support. We have custom mounds built. The overlay is rubber I know that.

    How important is the leg lift? I coach 10U kids and I have a couple that kids that dont like doing that.

    • @ARMPitchingDevelopment
      @ARMPitchingDevelopment  Před 3 lety

      Hmm..It's not terribly important. As long as they are loading the back leg from start and find balance (dynamic) in their delivery. I'm all for moving faster to home ( will help control runners) as long as the athlete is in good Balance, Direction and Timing. Also to note: Trimming out the load point could help keep Direction on a straighter line. Great question. Thank you 👊

    I’m 13 and pitching 70. My coach sent me this for my accuracy which I agree I need to work on. Any recommendations?

      Glad to hear it buddy. Keep your head still and eyes focused on where you want the ball to go all the way through the pitch. Best of luck to you and I hope you enjoy the video and get value from it.

    Can you come coach my kids team? :) Again, this is excellent. I gave a few of your tips last night to my son (9) who's trying pitching for the first time, and he was very receptive. Simple things like having an athletic ready position, posture, loading up and the stretch. In only a few minutes, he made improvements. I'm seeing with his team, and the teams he plays against, that a very big challenge is that the mound is 44 feet from home plate. These are kids between 8 and 11, and it's a struggle to get the ball to the plate from that distance. Any tips for working on helping them consistently get the ball to the plate from that distance?

    • @ARMPitchingDevelopment
      @ARMPitchingDevelopment  Před 3 lety

      Play catch a lot and try to work in some distance throwing. Pitching takes practice and these guys are just starting out, so hang in there.

    Stride length? I have an 11 yr. old who shortens his stride length and gets the ball up in the zone.
