As someone that has run mowers like this in large ag situations, from mowing ditches to shredding corn stalks, I would say your overlap was extremely minimal, and and it appears you did a great job.
i have yet to be unsubscribed from anything i have subscribed to.
Good job. Better to overlap a bit than leave strips.
Tim those derogatory comment I would say come from people with little to no experience using a tractor or a mower like you’re using. I honestly think you’re doing a great job. And I want to thank you for your content.
Those that complain of too much overlap. Have never used a brush mower !
Definitely be careful how low you cut in a lawn. Ive seen my father in law cut when his deck was as low as it can go and I kid you not the whole yard turned yellow the next day and most of the grass died. Last year I raised the deck up all the way up. Now the lawn looks the best its looked in probably 30 years.
Tim it has come to my attention that you could put a little weed and feed to those properties and could harvest the good clean hay.
If you would like to get rid of burdock with out spraying. You can push a shovel right along the base of the plant at least 6" an pull back on the shovel till you hear a pop that will kill it. You can then pull the plant out of the ground and put it were your going to mow and make fertilizer. Just make sure it has not gone to sed yet.
I think it's impressive how much of an angle you can put on those CV joints
C'mon Tim, with multiple tractors in the fleet, checking the angle of the dangle is needed with each hitch up. End result looks good and the slower speed made the tractor ride just like a Cadillac! Definitely not a fan of poison ivy!
There's just something about cutting grass I enjoy. Fine job guys.
Yes!! Timmy Time With Tractors on Wednesday. Should keep an electric blower handy to blast debris out of the screens to pop hood and blow inside out. Bet you wish you had a canopy on that Tractor.
The tower property looks great after mowing with the Flexwing.
Thanks Tim. I like the Rhino 10' flex wing the best out of all the mowers you demo. It cuts really nice and even though you had the deck angle off a bit you did a great job. Seems to me the overlaps are perfect. No misses and nice straight cut lines.
That's impressive and it's nice to see how sharp a turn you can take with it.
Tim you do an excellent job with what you got
Hi Tim and Christy another great video. Want to give my opinion on those haters' comments. Unfortunately you will have as you are surely aware of, but all you can hope for is they move on to another channel. I think you folks are great people and do a good job at what you do.
Great vid Tim! Keep doing what you do and overlook the haters that don’t provide content of how they do it. Lord’s blessings!
You can overlap as much as you want on your projects, which are probably billed by acreage. My only gripe about excessive overlap would be to somebody I am paying by the hour, but it would be only if a HUGE overlap(like greater than 30% of cut width). Overlap helps recut what may have been pushed down by the wheels, although a batwing probably helps stir up whatever the tractor laid down, so 10-20% would aid in keeping the turns neater.
Tim, I'm guessing most people commenting about your overlap are basing their opinion on their experience mowing their 200 sq ft lawn every 7-10 days
