I know this is an old video but just wanted to say thanks for posting it. Just purchased this for my wife’s Jeep and there’s a lot of videos on install of a new one but hard to find someone who’s had it for awhile. So it’s appreciated!

Have you ever had issues with the axles running 37s or 38s? Any upgrades to them? I’m just curious because I might add 37s to my Jeep soon

No issues so far. I installed new U joints in the front axle shafts to refresh the old stock axles. U joints are a likely failure point especially if they are old. I also sleeved the front axle tubes and gusseted the C’s. Whether or not it holds up really just comes down to how hard you are on it. 37s are fine on stock rubicon axles as long as you’re not abusing the Jeep at every obstacle.

I sold the Jeep in 22’. The carrier worked awesome and I’m sure it’s treating the next owner great too. I had it on there for 5 years of my ownership.

@@JsGarage oh perfect. I can’t even run a 37 right now with the health of my axles but it’s good to know I can use it down the road!

Does it still cause the back door to shake when you go over bumps?

In the few years that I used it I never experienced any door shake or rattle
