- Remember this is my personal opinion, if you disagree please let me know what you think the top 10 should have been! When making this video like last year I factored in the importance of the goal more than the skill of the goal. I also had 1 honorable mention from each series.

What a team, what a time to be alive! I mean the honorable mentions are spectacular goals. It's crazy how lucky we are to see the 2016 and 2017 Pens. Some of the best sports teams i've ever watched in my life. So much fun, i'll never forget this stretch.
#2 really hurt as a Senators fan. We were so close despite being the underdogs vs well, basically the opposite. It still breaks my heart every time I see it. One of the best and exciting playoff games though. Great video!

damn_daniel2002 I think that was the toughest series the Pens have played in either of the last 2 years (maybe besides Washington this past season) but the way they all rallied behind Anderson and they got "further than they were supposed to get" made that team a great story.

The Lightning was also top 3 toughest series the Pens played in the past 2 seasons.
Im sorry but imo hands down kunitz's 2OT winner was the best goal in the playoffs

One thing I love is listening to Doc Emrick call games. Its the same enthusiasm for both sides, but its always great hearing him call an OT winner for the Pens, especially when it ends a series.

That Guentzel goal after 37 min without a shot is still one of my all time favorites! We were getting outplayed but the heart will not be denied!

Espeacially the goal in Nashville. Coming behind the the goal and deliver the puck, whoever, back again. That is the point -fast and fearless, what coach Sullivan told last season all the time. It works -abd that is great. Up the Pens.

Jake's goal at # 6 probably should have been #3 ... If the Pens screw around and lose game 1 there after leading 3-0 , the series may have ended in Nashville's favor. It was clearly a bigger goal than being 6th.

Tyler Jones sure was great! Was really happy to see a blue collar type player like Hainsey score. He’s got 1 more than Ovi does in the final ;)

I didn't feel it was as big of a goal as the others on this list considering it came in a 4-1 loss. I took importance into account more than skill.

It was a really good goal! But I factored in importance over skill, that is why I had a goal like the one from Shultz in the same game over him (game winner vs opening goal). Thanks for the feedback though!

Joey The Coc player they're my favorite team and I don't have much time to make these videos. It's why I don't post a ton. If I had more time I'd probably do something with a broader scope like the whole NHL

when kunitz shot it in game 7... should of done it no.1
I came so so so close to putting that at #1, but I just felt like the situation when Hornqvist scored in game 6 was just so big, because it was anyone's game at that point. A Nashville win would have meant an anything can happen game 7. But believe me, deciding which goal should be #1 was the hardest decision I had to make.

Craig Flanick Nope. They got it right. Crosby made Guentzel, and Geno wasn't as dynamic on both ends of the ice, like Crosby. Last years Conn Smyth was more debatable.
Djm Pgh I agree. Although I was pulling for Guentzel just because of the story line, but I kinda figured it would go to Sid.
stop looking at the stats and watch the entire game. crosby was the best player on the ice in literally every series he played, even in the caps series where he missed 2 games or so. its been a long time since i have seen a player play this well. im glad to be a pens fan during this era. hope sid still has some left in the tank.
Bobby T. Guentzel, and Geno were both big factors in the cup run. But Sid was just a beast. Guentzel, and Sheary both, left some of Sids feeds on the table. Sids passing was off the charts this playoffs.
