It's literally the main reason why trashy reality TV like Jersey Shore and Keeping Up With The Kardashians are so popular right now, major networks scrambled to find things they could air that don't require skilled writers. You can joke as much as you want but you really underestimate how important writers are to most of our entertainment lol
