Vocals are amazing 10/10. Not sure why people aren't enjoying then cleans, it fits perfectly! Alkaloid forever, my favourite album this year. Amazing band, amazing musicians, amazing music and amazing song writing. Can't say enough good about this album, they are so far ahead and infront of so much other music
It really sells their progressive aspect. Then again I love Nevermore so I'm used to a higher register. I think they're well executed and add to the track.
Ne Obliviscaris (i think I spelled that Aussie band right) and Alkaloid have gorgeous clean vocals.
It throws in that classic power metal/going super Saiyan/stepped on a Lego while listening to Alkaloid and doing dishes sound!

The musical chaos in this song fits the lyrical content so well. Didn't like the clean vocals at first but I kept the album on repeat and now I love them, it gives a mystical feeling to the song :)

For some reason i've never been much of an Alkaloid fan, but this is a disgustingly good track. Going to have to give their last album another try.
I had no choice but to buy the first album, given the circumstances (favorite band for years breaking up and members forming another band). It didn’t end up blowing me away or anything, tbh. I did like it a lot though after giving it some time.

When I heards this song for the first time I naively thought its supposed to be about Trey Azagthoth, like a... big song which is practicaly just an advert for another band - Morbid Angel. But I guess its rather supposed to be about the god Azathoth - ruler of the outer gods and creator of the universe. :D
