This song is rather historic in my opinion. Miyako, the stage left guitarist, always composes her songs alone. Even with Break The Wall, where she and Miho are given cowriting credit, Miho wrote about two-thirds before handing it off to Miyako to finish. Stand And Deliver is the first time that Miyako has truly collaborated with someone else in composing the music for a Lovebites song. Stand And Deliver is cowritten by Miyako and the vocalist Asami. In addition to her amazing vocals and writing the lyrics of all ten songs, Asami was involved in composing four songs on the new album (the other three songs are We Are The Resurrection, Judgement Day and Dissonance). Miyako and Mao both contributed greatly to the new album, but Asami is the true MVP.
I was just flipping through YT when this popped up. Thank you. I really like the concept of this video showing themselves in a more relaxed atmosphere. The video shows how well Fami has already settled in and their chemistry with her. I’m not sure if it was done on purpose to show this but it was a great idea. The song itself is just banging from beginning to end.
Nobody does variety like Lovebites. Best thing to happen to Rock. Love your reactions to my Ladies. I heard and took part in this on it’s live Debut in Tokyo on March 11th.
“Nobody does variety like LOVEBITES” Um . . . huh? They have four modes: thrash, power metal, hard rock, and power ballad. The two outlier songs are “Spellbound” and the proggy “Dystopia Symphony. Everything else can be put into one of those four boxes. Wagakki Band and Babymetal both have more styles than LB. Congrats to seeing them in Tokyo, though.

I hope we get a Blu-Ray from the shows in March. Also, they should be careful. Leave Miyako on the drums long enough, she'll become a virtuoso on three instruments.
I LOVE this song - Thrash Punk Metal. Asami with Attitude and an infectious energy. Great solos showcasing how good Midori is, and how much better Miyako has gotten in the last 2 years. Fami solid as can be on bass, Haruna with double kick constantly blazing. And that Amazing G5 note Asami hits 4 times in each chorus. And the instrument swap was fun, they were having a great time recording this. It's nice to see that side of them.

Cool video seeing the ladies in regular clothes and just having fun. Asami's vocals were already great, but I think she has gotten even better on this new album.

Got into Lovebites 16 months ago. They now are my favorite band, replacing Iron Maiden since 1982. These ladies combine the best of 80's metal which are a big influence on them. I like in this one how they dressed down, having fun, and exchanging instruments. Everyone of the members is very talented and accomplished.

It seems that Miyako's style is a natural progression from Ritchie Blackmore to Yngwie Malmsteen with bits if Herman Li sprinkled in. Everyone in this band is just SO talented !

Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. The mic stand setting that Miyako(G-Piano-Black hair) used was too high for Asami(Vo). Asami & Haruna is cute.

Fun reaction to a fun song. IMO this is the best example of how Lovebites modernizes 80's metal/hard rock. General reactor question - Why do you listen to 10 (or how ever many) seconds of a song before reacting to it? Especially in Lovebites case because you won't be disappointed, so I would think a pure blind reaction is the best without any clue of what you are getting into.
I listen to a snippet of every video to ensure I’m going to like it. Some songs are better than others for all the bands I react to so I like to react to the best of the best. I get many, many requests so I have to make each one count.

You're not really supposed to like everything, although I understand those who watch a reaction to a particular song usually like it and want to hear from you what they want to hear, and that's that you like it too. @@mmcpa I’m not saving myself from controversy or unsubscribing. I’m trying to utilize what little free time I have to watch videos. I have a full-time job I do the channel as a side gig. I don’t have tons of time so the videos I do watch I’d like to enjoy them maybe that’s not like other reactors or maybe it’s not what you want but it’s how I choose to run my channel.
