I used to watch this every year with my husband. It was his favorite movie. Andy, Joey, and Matt, thank you for inviting us to watch along with you. For the first time in 5 years, I was able to watch with someone else since my husband passed in December 2018.
Your commentary was so fun and truly made me laugh and was such a joy to share with you guys. It felt great to not have to experience this movie alone.

Matt, I recently watched the Pod Meets World steam of the Philadelphia show at the Tower theatre, and relived the moment when I yelled POD DA POD from the balcony, and you looked up in my direction and replied POD DA POD. I honestly started to question if this call and response actually happened bc it felt so surreal, but it did. A short interaction with a fan that she will remember for a long time. Thank you!

Anything John Hughes did was and is still a brilliant classic! What’s funny is I’m not watching the movie along. I’ve watched this movie so many times, (earlier this year too) that I can see every visual you guys are speaking! Moreover, you can literally smell this movie! From Cousin Eddie in his mothball cologne to snots and that sewer man!!! Iconic Christmas movie. And you’re right they don’t make movies like this anymore.😁
I have got to play the movie at the same time because it's not as fun just watching you all react when I can't see it. 😅

I watched this without watching the movie along with it. I was entertained just listening to your commentary 😂 I'm kinda surprised cause I truly thought, "Yeah, this isn't gonna work. It's going to be boring watching/listening to them for over an hour just sitting there watching a movie." Glad to say I was wrong. Throwing the camera to Smee was a bonus of adorable cuteness that I hope happens a lot in future episodes.
I started listening to it on Spotufy on my drive home from work and knew exactly what was going on in the film as the guys were talking. I did put on the movie when I got home and watched along with the CZcams pod video.
It was a great idea, I can now say that I watched a movie with the Lawrence brothers.

We watch this as a family tradition every single year too I remember seeing it in the theater as a child when it first came out.... This year for my birthday my hubby took me to a Christmas vacation movie party it was so cool they gave us Christmas ties to wear and a good stick to weave when they found the perfect tree, an American flag to wave when she says the pledge of allegence instead of saying grace lol and then an air freshener for the second tree with the squirrel 🐿️ it was the best!!! So this is my second time watching it this year!!!
