    Infrastructure is also software newsoutlets even the concept of parents is a form of infrastructure bcs they ley the foundation of knowledge in you. (ie the infrastructure of ur mind) Its pure Arrogance to pack Infrastructure only as an engineering concept.

      This is the definition for infrastructure:
      The basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g. buildings, roads, power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise.
      This could ALSO be considered infrastructure/charging stations, for EV/Electric Vehicles, are needed, solar/solar panels/wind turbines/water trurbines, are ALSO infrastructure/NEEDED, to power ALL of this/replace oil/gasoline/non-renewable energy, ALSO job positions, NEED to be filled, in these fields/areas too,analogy, if the city/county doesn't have the budget, for workers, to fix the roads/electric grid,thats a problem,same with ALL of the other stuff to come,MOST LIKELY censors on the road/solar to power ALL of this,for self driving vehicles/electric vehicles,battery back ups, for red lights/signs, for at night/when ever solars not available/ not good enough/if its to cloudy, also.LESS lights,will have to be used as four way stops,because lights are out,from something that happened miles and miles away, ALSO as long as a sever,in the line/a local problem isn't detected, battery backups,can power up and be charged by solar, honestly it made no sense back in the day,for lights to have to go out,it DEFINITELY makes no sense now.
      These things NEED to be done/budgeted in, we CAN'T make the same mistakes Trump made/cut off supplies from China/Japan/create tariffs and then not have a plan/ not have warehouses/manufacturing plants/distribution centers, open and established, in the US/not have an infrastructure in place/an alternative for supply.
      We NEED incentives/tax deductions,for owning an electric vehicle/having solar/sealing up you're house/blowing in insulation/spray foaming/insulating/replacing/getting energy efficient windows/ upgrading toilets, to use less water, really what we need, is Incandescent/halogens and CFLs, to be pulled off the shelf/only offer LEDs,give companies HUGE incentives, to make their products energy efficient/Energy Star Rated, appliances like refrigerators,freezers,tvs,Washer machines,dryers,Mini Splits/HVAC,FANs, ALSO businesses should ALSO get these tax write offs, also A LOT of this should be written into building code,ALSO recycling shouldn't be a chore/have some type of sorting system/require trash companies to sort/recycle trash,with sorter machines/it should DEFINITELY be automated/efficient.
      SOME of this is already being done,BUT we NEED to keep things going in the right direction.
      The reason this matters, the obvious reason, we only have a certain amount of oil,BUT as long as were alive,the sun is here/can be utilized, along with wind and water turbines.
      ALSO less energy, would be being used/needed/it would DEFINITELY save people money,BUT ALSO the infrastructure, MAY not be the strongest, in the beginning, it will take time, for ALL of this to be built and get real efficient/the less power we have to produce, the better and MAYBE in the beginning, we can just off set, SOME of this/use less efficient methods/non-renewable methods,alongside the more efficient options,such as solar/wind turbines,battery back ups and so on, then work our way into, ONLY using the more practical options,once the infrastructure is built/established.
      Things are FINALLY changing, people don't realize how much though,not yet anyway,A LOT of jobs are going to be automated/not exist for humans, SOON/SOME of these positions/jobs, have ALREADY disappeared/no longer exist.
      The other things A LOT of people aren't realizing, is, we live in a digital world/convenience and low price, is key, when it comes to business/brick and mortar is dying/door dash/deliveries/UPS/USPS/Fedex/Amazon/Walmart/automated distribution centers are the future/self driving vehicles,electric and solar/renewable energy/we NEED to think about what we use,MEANING,IF we decide to use something that is not renewable, it NEEDS to have reusability/it needs to have a great/HUGE return,examples,Helium3,graphine/graphite,thorium/fusion.
      We DEFINITELY NEED to be looking to the future/colonizing other planets,is ALSO SOMETHING we DEFINITELY NEED be thinking about ALSO.
      ALSO more space stations/MAYBE even manufacturing/assembling space ships/satellites, in space/it would save a ton of money/be A LOT more practical.
      Anyway we need to be thinking long-term/we don't need to think like/become the dinosaurs.
      The issue is,even though the government wants to ignore it,its DEFINITELY going to effect,EVERYONE,these dinosaurs,MAY be dead,BUT,like I've said, we don't want to become the dinosaurs, meaning IF this happens, nothing we've ever done/accomplished, really matters/no one, will live on, in even history books/PDFs/no one will know who George Washington is,Albert Einstein,Tesla,Benjamin Franklin,Karl Benz/Henry Ford and so on/no one will live on/I guess John F Kennedy,said it best, " We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win."
      Technically in the future space stations,will ALSO be infrastructure,because, we will NEED them,to get supplies to different planets/back to earth/build space ships in them/deploy satellites and so on,I hope we are just doing these things to colonize additional planets and we haven't used all of our resources/made to many more terrible decisions.
      Anyway I understand this DEFINITELY sounds crazy,BUT I guarantee,for the future of human survival, these are the next steps, we NEED to take.
      PLUS, by doing these revolutionary things,we learn a lot more/improve things/grow scientifically/get better technology/get better medicines/medical break throughs and so on,plus who knows,we MAY meet someone out there/thats a slippery slope,BUT it has to be done,meaning,HOPEFULLY they are friendly.
      Anyway point being is,we NEED to do these things,for the future of earth and humans.

    I can only that our president here in the US can focus on these issues based on infrastructure, developmental planning and innovations on transportation that could get goods, resources/materials and also people as well.

    I TOTALLY agree with this; the US has to do a better job at having a nice and robust infrastructure. China has a significantly better infrastructure than US has, and this needs to change.
    I have never thought much about infrastructure before, but Turkey, the country that I have been living in, was hit by two awful earthquakes 11 days ago, and four major cities are now destroyed. When cities get destroyed; you do realize how important the infrastructure is.

    While Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada -- even Russia, and Saudi Arabia -- are busy laying out plans for hydrogen, the folks at our Department of Energy are paralyzed trying to figure out which will come first -- the hydrogen infrastructure or the hydrogen industry itself that will need to use it. Meanwhile, our oil companies, as well as our car companies, have buried their heads in the sand. Oil companies want to drill for more oil when demand for it is diminishing and car companies want to make battery cars when we have no grid capacity to charge them. And we are frantically searching for the ideal battery, ignoring the fact that even if we find it, it will still need to be charged through our anemic grid.
    If hydrogen is indeed our only effective means to fight climate change at scale, then we should start with the hydrogen infrastructure itself. Why make it a two-step solution (battery-hydrogen) when we can go directly to hydrogen and get there faster? Even our present two-step solution will need hydrogen. That is correct, the proponents of battery cars that have been busy ridiculing hydrogen will need it themselves to power hydrogen generators to charge their battery cars. And of course, we will need to deliver hydrogen to our factories to make steel, cement, and fertilizer -- and to power our airplanes before it becomes unpopular to fly with jet fuel.
    But how would we be able to deliver all this hydrogen across our vast land? The same way we deliver natural gas -- with pipelines. Indeed, we can even use our existing gas pipelines if we simply reline them with plastic inserts, as they are doing now in the UK -- or as we are doing here when steel pipes start leaking. And as far as setting up the hydrogen infrastructure is concerned; we should stop conflating the source of the hydrogen with the means of delivering it. One has nothing to do with the other. Arguments against the source of hydrogen should not get in the way of us setting up a safe and efficient way to deliver it to those that need it.
