Burhhh my first and last iPhone was an iPhone 3G, and I honestly wouldn't have any issues using an iPhone 3G these days for regular sms and calling. 🤘

@@crackedvortex uhh what did he do? I personally would get kids an Android. tbh you have more variety. Phones with good cameras to gaming focused. And they are cheaper. I don't get it why apple makes such overpriced phones. But then new phone comes out the prices drop because depreciation. And they have some cool features.

I got my iPhone XR (light blue version) back in 2019 as a birthday present and it still holds up today as my daily device. The camera quality is indeed excellent, it's always been fast and reliable and I haven't had any problems with it so far. I updated my phone to iOS 15 today and it works like a charm so far. Hopefully I'll still get to use my XR for at least three more years before I update to a newer model, most likely reason being that iOS would have come to a version that doesn't support XR. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Great video and good to see a techie giving the XR a fair chance still in 2021! :)
I'd avoid ios15 as my iPhone or which used to be fast, is now super laggy and I have to reboot 5 times a day because of it
I've had my XR for 2 years now and I'm still loving it. Battery life can be a bit of a pain, but even with fairly heavy use I can normally make it last me a regular work day before I get to the 20% warning.
can i ask for an opinion the iPhone 10 or 11 ? Im trying to debate should i get the 10 or 11 i kinda want the 10
@@theyeti7113 11! Great battery and great camera however I do love the 10/S model. I’m not fond of the 2 separate camera set up of the 11.

Just upgraded to an XR coming from an iPhone 6S, and the difference in performance, screen size, and just overall speed is insane.
I’m literally in the same boat..have had an IPhone 6S for almost 2 years and just bought the XR. This comment upped my optimism 🔥👍

I've use my XR 10 hrs per day. After two years of using it, battery capacity still at 90%. And I also play games like Honkai impact 3rd, call of duty mobile everyday. XR performance is really amazing. No critical heating issues when playing for a long duration. Only a little bit warm, when you play too long. From my Real experience, that phone is one of the best pick in 2021. It's my first iPhone experience. And because of XR I really no longer want to use Android from now on. It my real experience

The iPhone XR will be my first iPhone!, there was someone selling it for 200 dollars, 128gb storage, and light blue, couldn't pass this up!

I got the Yellow XR and it looks aesthetically pleasing. I’m also happy with the screen despite having lower resolution and LCD. The LCD is the best among others!

Nice video, I have my XR for 2 years and 6 months and it’s a great phone, battery still in 90%.
Bought the XR when it released. It’s absolutely great. I abuse the shit out of it (8+ hours screen time daily) Only complaints are battery life and ram (it’ll crash sometimes but a quick restart does the trick).

I picked up a Used Black XR last year, still has 96% Battery Health and last a full day. Maybe more if I don't browse too many apps. I do find the XR a little wider than other phones and the curved sides make it slippery. The screen could be brighter under direct sunlight, and the Camera is showing its age now among other flagships. Other than that, I'd argue getting a refurb/Used XR over a New iPhone SE 2020 at its retail price. Might hold onto this XR until we see a new budget model iphone.

Just bought myself an iPhone 12 Pro Max today, love it so far. I’m contemplating getting my mom a new phone for Mother’s Day though, don’t want to spend crazy money though. Debating getting her an XR or an 11.
Depends if she’ll use the camera much (more so at night) if not XR be fine but if buying new the cost difference probably worth the 11 for longer support.
@@richarddcrossley I got her the XR :) You’re right about the longer support from Apple but overall the phones will last about the same. The XR and 11 are identical minus the cameras

I have the XR which I bought when it was released. it's coming up on 3 years old and currently has 92% battery health. Right now, that is the biggest problem I have with the phone. The battery doesn't last nearly as long as it did when new. What I am planning to do is replace it as my daily driver with an iPhone 13, and keep it as a good, solid backup phone. I may even have the battery replaced to get a couple more years of life from it.
I’ve had my iPhone XR for two and a half years and can tell you that you’re review is SPOT ON! I love this phone still - have no need to trade it off or desire to. It, like the 5s are legend in my view. Great review!

Vape Mom how long does new iPhone XR battery reminds for?
Battery is a relatively minor niggle for iPhones because it's a lot easier to find a place to get your battery serviced. Apart from that there's almost no reason to get newer ones if you can get the XR for that cheap. I used the 7 until very recently and aside from very small battery size (there's no replacement for displacement on this one). I'm perfectly content with it and will have no problem using it until it genuinely dies.

I have a had my iPhone XR for 2 years and I think my battery is doing very well it has 97 battery health and I am a very heavy user it lasts the entire day no matter what I am doing
Both XR and Xs max is a good buy cheap price n good quality still can use as daily usage for at least 3years. I'm still using xs max no issues still runs smooth.

Bought my XR when iPhone 11 was released. I love it, the only thing I'd change is the color. I have it black but right now I'd go with white instead.

Brought this last year for husband and this year for me, looked at the 11, 12 and 13 and think yes we made the right decision.
Bought xs max brandnew last May 2021 and I never regret any single day of using it. Been using an andorid for all of my life tho

Id say on a limited budget, go for the XR. Its an amazing phone for the price now (only 500 for the base model (these days thats considered cheap)). In that bracket there’s really nothing that competes with it... but if you have an extra hundred then go with the 11.
I’ve had my IPhone XR for over a year now and I still love it. Whoever wants an IPhone 13 are wasting their time and money…it’s still the same old phone like all the rest.

I have the iPhone 11 and the only problem I have with it is the resolution not the fact that it’s an LCD or the thick bezels

I don't really see why everyone's complaining about the battery mines at 91% and can last me 1 or 2 day from 100% to 20%

I bought mine new and the battery gets me through the day with like 20 percent battery left and use more than moderately
Just make sure not too overcharged it over 85% to preserve the battery
I do I use optimised battery charging and my battery health is at 100%

Just bought new for 385 euros. Still a great device.
There were some that had battery issues, mine was one. Took it to the Apple Store (hadn't bought it from them) and they did a free battery replacement - but they broke the camera doing it. They didn't have any refurbs in stock so gave me a refurb 11 to replace it. Between that and the long term iOS support and privacy focus of Apple means I'll stick with iPhones.
I bought a used but in very good condition Iphone XS 64 gb for $279. Couldn't find any scratches on it, the only downside is it has 82% battery health left, but I can easily get the battery replaced when it hits the 80-70% mark. It will be a excellent phone for the next 2-3 years.

Watching this vid on my Product Red XR , Mark this phone is a absolute beast . Battery life is really good & As A12 is not pushing as many pixels as it’s sibling XS & Max it just blasts through any apps . The only downer is the ram as it is the only aspect that does not make it future proof . Though it will get solid 3 years of iOS update as u rightly said . I m happy with this purchase for 470$ last Aug .
