And how exactly does hearing words you find offensive impact that child? The truth is, it doesn't. There's nothing wrong with profanity, as long as you aren't using it as hateful rhetoric aimed at your child. Kids thrive on attention, and love, and acceptance, and being heard, feeling validated, and having a safe, secure home and family. They are not effected by being forced to follow arbitrary societal norms about which words they should and shouldn't hear.
