    The 92 variants have always been my favorite looking guns....they're just beautiful guns. These two are exceptional 👏. I'd been saving up for a LTT gun for a long time, then discovered Chambers Custom... now I'm saving up to pick up one of their guns.

    Absolutely love my LTT. Probably my favorite pistol. Unfortunately no optics cut. I bought mine at the height of Covid madness and these were hard enough to find. They may not have even been offering optics cut at the time. I think they had just started offering to send your slide in to get it done. I may buy the optics cut slide just to have. I had an opportunity to get the 92x performance for a pretty decent price a while back and passed it up. I kick myself for that.

    Awesome review, I’m probably going to get the compact version non-RDO for range toy/carry option and then once my kids are little older grab a full size with RDO for starting out in comp! Also your video is the first I’ve seen and I’ve watched a lot on the LTT where I can see the blue finish some owners mentioned on LTT’s website, looks great.

    Nice unboxing there, interesting to learn what the LTTs offered. Having a 92F and quite satisfied with it after a trigger job with regards to accuracy and trigger feel 3lb, and very smooth I could not see what to do to improve except sights. Kind of fancied the 92X Defensive with similar looks, but it should have been in aluminum and not steel as its much heavyer. Aluminum was an advantage so why did they drop that? Also will there be an improved 92FS with alu frame and all the bits and pieces but without the rail? :) Maybe just put the new parts in the old gun and take it from there? Bar-Sto?

    • @Steadfast_Collective
      @Steadfast_Collective  Před rokem

      So they used steel for the defensive model because it was made for IDPA competition

    • @gabork.8715
      @gabork.8715 Před rokem

      @@Steadfast_Collective Lost me a bit there, Mike, so maybe you can explain: The custom Defensive(CDP) class in IDPA is for cal..45 limited for 8 shots and the Beretta 92X Defensive supposedly for that class is still 9mm 15 shots. Also its not mentioned that in that class the weapon must be made of steel. So what consideration was it that the "Defensive" came to market? Also in the standard class for service weapon 92F/M9 is allowed unaltered but with 10 shots. However all service weapons as I know were standard 15 shots everywhere. Just a strange IDPA special rule?

    • @Steadfast_Collective
      @Steadfast_Collective  Před rokem +1

      @@gabork.8715 They made it for the Carry Optics, ESP, and SSP divisions. The reason for steel was so it is heavier and could help reduce "felt" recoil which is popular in for competition guns and this is what they used for their standard 92x performance. They did remove some material from the defensive model in order to keep it below the 45 oz weight limit.
      If you look at the website on the defensive model it explains this at the bottom of the page.

    Hey Mike, I’m planning on purchasing the 92 with NP3 and RDO. For the RDO, can I remove the plate and use the iron sights?
    Then after time, can I swap back to the RDO? It looks like the iron sights are on the rdo plate and the sights are missing. Sorry for the question, I’m new to this!
    Also, have you continued shooting your 92 Elite? Any issues or cons you’ve had so far?

    • @Steadfast_Collective

      The rear sight is attached to the optic plate. So you can remove the optic and keep the plate on and run the higher sights. But there is not an option to put the stock rear sight on the gun
