it feels like too many people have issues with the ecovac software/app, there always a complaint about ecovac
honestly, its weird that you're having problems with roborock app, i rarely hear people having any problems with the app. plus i have roborock S6, 4 years old, and during these 4 years never had a issue with the app, across different phones and devices

I have the Ecovac X2 and it’s definitely disorganized. It’s the biggest regret purchase I’ve made in tech. Its vacuum pattern is horrible, doubles back on itself, misses spots, and it gets stuck on everything even with the AI camera feature. When it gets stuck it forgets where it is and can’t resume, instead it just starts over from scratch. I’m about to chuck it in the trash and go back to Roborock. The app isn’t that great either. Roborock is a superior app.
When it works properly, it does a good job vacuuming and mopping, but it’s a hassle. For a $1000 vacuum it should be better.

Thank you for posting this. This is what I was afraid of. Almost got talked into this over the QRevo by the store but I have had a Roborock S5 for 6 years and has zero issues with it or the app. The QRevo is like $600 off right now as the next version MaxV is out. I’ll go with the QRevo thanks!
