I got this bag in December 2021 so it's been a year and a half of using it frequently. The leather isn't very scratch prone and I'm not exactly super careful with my nails so I'm glad I haven't marked my bag. I'll say it wears well, the only issue being the drawstring not staying in place even after a year of use.
What are the odds, I went to Loewe just now to buy the mini puzzle in jungle green, I had been eye-ing it for a while, and the push was the new green color, and I tried on mini flamenco and other styles, guess what, I went with mini flamenco in jungle green instead. First Loewe bag for me too! I just subscribed! Happy Holidays!

I just googled the jungle green and it is such a beautiful happy shade of green. 💚 The only green they had in store here was the vintage khaki and I was also tossing between that and the warm desert, being a fan of green myself. Hey Victoria. I don’t really baby this bag at all and have been caught out in light rain before where slight droplets just wipe off. There hasn’t been any water staining so far, but I also haven’t carried it out in heavy downpour. You could possibly apply leather water proofing on it, but I’m unsure of the effectiveness as I haven’t tried that out myself and rather keep my bags as is, letting them wear and age naturally with time. Hi, I've been looking at this bag in the mini. Great review. Thank you. One question...does the bag stay scrunched together once your essentials are in it or does it tend to open up on it's own? I carry about the same amount and size items as you showed.😊You've had it for a while now. Does it still stay scrunched together when you close it?
Hi Cami, thanks so much for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed my review. 😊 Yes, I've had the bag for almost a year now and use it regularly but the bag doesn't stay scrunched up if I fill it up. It only stays that way with minimum items stored in it. So what I tend to do is tie a knot in the middle of the bag using the two ends, if that makes sense. It kinda looks cute that way but it's probably not a look everyone would like. So I try to store only minimum essentials in this bag in order to maintain the scrunched up look. Hope this helps.

Hi and thanks so much for your comment. The leather has held up beautifully both interior and exterior - a very low maintenance bag that I've been using almost every couple of days. The drawstring part still doesn't completely keep the shape of the bag when pulled tight, unless I store only a few small items in it. If the bag is full, the drawstring tends to eventually loosen up so it really depends on how many items is in it. Hope this helps!

Hey, thanks for watching and that's a really good question. I do also have a Dior Bobby that I have yet to review so I completely get where you're coming from and agree that they are totally different styles but they share similarities being in the same small crossbody bag category. Since we've touched on their appearances, the first thing to consider is price point. The Bobby is a lot more to spend, so if budget isn't a concern then the next thing I'll look at is the construction of the bag and how much it can hold. I won't go into too much detail (maybe I'll do a comparison video soon) but in summary, I can store the exact same amount of items in both bags however the Bobby's flap closes and stays shut with its magnetic clasp whereas the mini Flamenco tends to open up if I fill it up with the same amount of items (ie the drawstring doesn't stay tightly pulled. It eventually loosens but the bag still stays shut as it has a magnetic closure. It's just the look of the bag loses that 'dumpling' appearance and becomes a flat rectangular bag, if you get what I mean). In terms of durability, the Bobby is a structured bag but its smooth leather is also more prone to scratches compared to the Flamenco's buttery soft leather. I have to be extra careful with my Bobby as fingernail scratches will be more visible on it but I don't have to baby the Flamenco bag as much. As for the strap, the Bobby's is better quality and sits perfectly on my shoulder and body. The Flamenco's strap tends to shift with my body's movement (difficult to describe in words but I might do a follow-up video to better explain it visually) as it is after all a much thinner and softer strap.The Bobby is heavier and more rigid in construction, whereas the Flamenco is lighter and can be packed flat in your luggage if you need to travel with it. A bonus to the Bobby is the back pocket that I use mainly for my phone which I find super convenient and secure, as my phone slides in and out so easily and stays between the bag and my body. The Flamenco on the other hand, doesn't have any pockets. Look-wise, I'm able to style both bags up for formal attire or casually with tshirt and jeans, by adjusting the straps. I hope you found this helpful but let me know if you have any other questions. I'll try to get a comparison video up someday soon. 😊

Just in the 3-4 month mark of using this bag and still very much loving it. It's my go-to bag for any occasion, really. I recently travelled and only brought this one handbag - used it crossbody during the day and removed the strap to use as a clutch in the evening for dinner with friends. Goes well with my formal looks as well as casual wear. If I didn't already have other black bags I would consider this in black too. 😊
@@thatchicnextdoor0970 yes, I frequently do especially for nights out. Or bring the strap along but tuck it in the bag so it still has the clutch look but with the security of the strap should you need it. 😊 So far no scratches on mine and I don’t really baby my bag too much.

I bought this bag last year but returned it because the strap was not adjustable. But now it is!!!!! I didn't know until I watched your video. Question: does overtime use help with keeping the bag cinched close? I remember it getting loosened quickly
That's right, the first release didn't come with an adjustable strap. I got to see that strap and the one I ended up buying to compare which I preferred. Adjustable is definitely the way to go, in my opinion. I've used the bag for about 4 months now and it does stay closed but only if I don't have too many things inside, otherwise it'll slowly loosen at the top. Hope this helps. 😊
I ordered the same Flamenco clutch in desert sand but in the med size. I was so dissapointed. The leather did not live up to a $2400 price tag. RIdiculous! So I returned it to Nordstrom and ordered two of the Loewe Cubi($1200 ea.)...one in ecru and one in pink neon. Terrible. Returned both. Seriously who do these people think they're fooling. Social media has ruined the dersigner bag. These brands are not even attempting to put forth any real effort, just going on the name. Nope not I. Keeping my money thank you.

Pull the strings from the inside of the bag so the side knots stay in place.
That could work too but does give it a different look at the knots won't be as visible on the sides. 😊
