I have a 2005 Volvo XC90 v8awd
1. I think wireless charger is an upgrade. My 2021 has it to the right of the shift changer. Maybe it’s an upgrade model thing.
2. The screen. Idk if you’re comparing it to Tesla. I guess it could be a little small. It’s more than enough tho.
3. The complaint about bad interface is something others talked about. Honestly it almost had me discouraged until I test drove it. It’s nowhere near as bad as a Volkswagen or a Mazda. honestly there wasn't anything that i was dissatisfied with. Plus it’s got Apple car play now.
4. Adjusting the back seats is not an issue in my opinion. I set it once and haven’t had to touch it since.
I agree tho with the 3rd row seats not having a button in the trunk to pick them up or drop them down is annoying lol. First world problem 😅
One thing, you don't want a big screen, your suppose to be watching the road ... love the denim blue. I want a vehicle to drive, if I want technology I'll buy a computer .. give me a good stereo anytime ..

I love your reviews. I was astonished that the 2023 models don't bring wireless chargers, and I panicked because I expect mine to be delivered in less than two months, and they said it was coming with this feature. After watching your review, I went to the website to make sure it was included, and it is. So I think maybe it is a feature that comes depending on the market, I live in Europe.
It wasn't on my US model. Lucky!
Next time buy BMW only.

The back seats seems like they could use some tweaking, but I guess that mostly kids or teenagers would sit in the third row.
If you daily drive around 6 passengers, I would just leave the middle seat in the second row folded down and kids should easily be able to step on that folded middle seat to get to the third row.
That's how I would use it or daily drive it with many passengers and kids, then you wouldn't have to bother with folding the seats in the second row every single time you get in or out. Although that doesn't excuse that the seats needs some tweaking though...

IMHO: I'm didn't agree about wireless CarPlay concern. Why we use such stuff? In order to get access to proper voice assistant, fresh maps, music apps. Thats it. Using Volvo/Google capabilities you can install this stuf directly in car and stop torturing phone battery. Text messages and calls? Come on, give me a breath... First one is unsafe during ride, and second works fine with typical BT connection.
Same with wireless charger. I have one. And use almost never. Charging is slow and phone gets hot AF. So... Meh.

Just watched this video as I have just purchased one. So I never cared about wireless charging, because I did not use in my other vehicle. The screen isnt bad to be honest. I actually like that it isnt huge. The storage in the morning is small soooo that is a small booo. I prefer wired Apple CarPlay. Always have. Works better in my opinion. Plus Im driving soooo I don't usually care either way.
Wish they had a more updated interior. Same interior since 2016

If you can't use a screen and you have temperature problems just say "I am cold" or "I am hot" and the Volvo will help you with that. Don't be a baby

This guy needs a serious understanding as to why Volvo designs cars the way they do. The ignition switch is the direct link to the gearbox. Like an old Saab would. It's a shame his perception gets an audience.
That piece that you don't know what it is called, we call it 'stänkskydd' = splash guard.
Why anyone worry about speed when they will literally go as fast as any one on the road? And also, don't complain about it not being fast as you want like if you could do over 200 km/h in the roads of the United States, because, at least it os economic. Not really the reality of a V12 Ferrari that brings you to the same destination with nothing but speed and not economic

Talk about over-laboring your point about the third row seats, I like your reviews for the most part but there's an increasing element of drama queen emerging. For me you could dial that back a bit. Love the 0-100 tests you do for each test.

Those are splash guards/Mud Flaps and they should never be on a 50k plus vehicle lol 😂

Nope. The XC90 is built in Sweden. Whereas some of the XC60s are built in China.

Volvo don't change the look of their car very often because their design is timeless. Other car manufacturers on the other hand change the look every 3 years because it is not good looking anymore.

Volvo is a scam! My 2023 Volvo has a steering wheel that vibrates very badly, making it quite annoying and UNSAFE to drive, and Volvo doesn’t want to fix it.
They’re supposed to vibrate when you go over the lane line lol. It’s telling you to stay in your lane😅
@@4240cameron The vibrate have all the time, not only over the lane, I brought my Volvo to the dealership for the vibration issue 5 times, and both the dealer mechanic and manager, as well as a Volvo engineer, have experienced and acknowledged the vibration issue I've been having, they has changed parts also, but the can not fix the problem. However, despite contacting Volvo about the issue, they have stopped replying to my emails. I will contact local news and file a Lemon law
